The Colombian army has said it killed a Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) commander in an airstrike, Colombia Reports reported Sept. 22.
The army said Jesus Agudelo “El Paisa” Rodriguez, leader of the FARC’s 34th front, was killed in an airstrike on the border of the Antioquia and Choco departments.
The operation followed a four-month intelligence operation aimed at locating Rodriguez.
Rodriguez was known for ordering the death of former Antioquia Gov. Guillermo Gaviria Correa, along with one of the governor’s advisers and seven soldiers. All were FARC captives.

I will take their claim with a grain of salt but if it turns out that what they claim is indeed true then this is another big blow to FARC.
