Henry Paulson: I love the market, really. The market makes everyone rich. It is a triumph over socialism. Now give me $800 billion dollars without any oversight. I need to fix some problems with the market.

Not only are right-wing Libertarians unproductive, they're just cuckoo on top of it. I can see either one of them saying things like that, that's basically their philosophy.
Just look at how crazy the Ron Paul movement was. Thank god these idiots are only taken seriously on the internet.

Poor souls have built up careers and credibility trying to defend people like Gates, Buffet, Paulson, Trump, and Rockefeller - only to find out their gods aren't interested in playing by the rules. I'm actually surprised by Paulson's audacity to come out and basically flip off the taxpayers. The capitalists are flailing this time around. Every American has their ears pricked. I suspect even in this terrible economy "Das Kapital" may see a slight hike in sales.

I wonder which one of our own libertarians on this forum listen to Alex Jones.
Here are some of his other claims:
That Global Warming is a scam designed to reduce the human population.
That the Communists in Russia and China were funded by the American government and American businessmen (while the US has inadvertently supported some communist regimes, and while Reagan aided Pol Pot and helped him escape to Taiwan, this was done to preverse American dominance in the region).
That the UN has a plan to eliminate 80% of the population, billions of people, in order to enforce the New World Order.
That the founding farthers of Americas all had benign interests, even though many of them, such as the federalists, wanted power in elite hands in the first place. Look up "elite democracy" and see the influence the Federalists had had on it.
That the US government blew up the towers on 9/11.

Well! Good point! It's a good thing that two wrongs make a right (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two_wrongs_make_a_right)!

You shouldn't be taking all americans seriously ^^.
"Libertarians" trying to group up is just... odd. I'd always seen Libertarians as trying to be more individual.

You're not completely wrong. Many libertarians do live up to their individualism, albeit by shunning all social contact with the outside world and spending their days in front of the computer spamming Ron Paul propaganda across each and every forum out there when not coding their next masterpiece of a program.
Ah, what troopers.

His views on fascism and the police state are right. The other views I take with a grain of salt and the others are just way off.

Cute. My little cousin just had a successful lemonade sell actually.:D
You know, if it weren't for that "10 cents" to be made, the lemonade provided here probably wouldn't exist. Aw, less lemonade for the masses. :crying:

If there is indeed one thing cappies do have over communists, I imagine our version of monopoly probably isn't as fun.
"Hey, I landed on Baltic, who owns it?"
"Everyone does!"
Schrödinger's Cat
25th September 2008, 11:33
Well, Monopoly was originally an anti-capitalist propaganda tool meant to exhibit how virtually everyone is screwed, so communist Monopoly would be an oxymoron...
