Red,
Time to face the facts.
Lets get down to the nitty gritty.
I know it's hard to argue with someone who has
"lives off wife" under his name and I understand this but thats all part of the shock and awe internet style that I talked about way back when.
I warned it was going to get ugly.
Its been a brief skirmish actually.I have yet to bring the full front attacks in...
However I Have brought the Generals,I brought the death,I brought the camps,I brought the Mascot,But most importantly I brought the truth.
Now I took losses as well as you.I lost all self respect having this tag.But that was friendly fire since I did ask for one and I laughed when I was told DC's "warmonger" was the result of a hostile attack by you lafties.I also lost a keyboard after you made me spit out my soda.
But after all I brought to the battlefield the only thing you brought was your cat.Pure Pussy.
You avoid the issues like you avoid reality,Red.
Time to face it.You were spoiled as a child. You got all you wanted.Thats why you lash out like you do.
We are winning the battles cause you weave through like a snake picking and choosing them as you please.
It's ok buddie.Just end it all.
Eric

Bleeding heart,

Please don't take this to heart when I say this is between him and I.
I'm sure the old man can handle his own.
He knows what this is about.

Thank you,
Eric

Can I add to the stupidity that was Chiak's post that this isn't a battlefield like it seems to be in your mind. It is an internet message board, get a grip.

guys guys no need to bother him anymore about that, he's got a lot of time on his hands, hence the high post count in such little time... hey he's got nothing else to do, who am i to judge him?

if his post count is helping in raising his ego and make him think he's superior to anyone who is as little as one post behind him, let it be, i couldn't care less...
really, AK47, Hampton and Loic, thank you but please, do save your strength for something worthwhile

ps:chiak47, just for the record, i was here 10 days before you. so i think i have somewhat of a stronger footing than you do, lad. have a good one.

You are so full shit, if it was actually between you two, a private message would have been more appropriate.

Now we see the kid on the bike doing wheelies for his mommie

Ah, Chiak47, did I really cause you to lose a keyboard? :cheesy:

Well, it will get worse. If losing a keyboard bothers you, think how bad you'll feel when you lose an empire.

Now go take your meds and lie down for a nice nap.

Red,
Your wrong old man.We are a republic not a empire. No walls of this republic do not have so much as a crack.
They are strong and you know it.The 60's brought this country to it's knees and you were hoping for 10 more years of the same violence and awakening.Next thing you know it's 1978 and your sitting in a methadone clinic with god damn polyester on.

Realize that you and your generation failed. It will never happen on that scale again. These kids have no heart. They want the free sex and drugs without the debate. Most of the country supports the troops. No pigs blood at the airport. No kent state with the weapons and bean bag ammo they have these days.

Do you remember the day MLK was shot. With all those people on the balcony.Jesse Jackson was there. Now Jesse is the spokesman for the civil rights movement.Him and his bastard love child. He goes out shaking down companies and individuals while he lives fat with the rest of the fat cats.
Another words the civil rights movement got what it wanted.Equal treatment.

Affirmative action and hate crimes did away with the riots and the movement-At least did away with the scale you wanted it to be on and excel from.

How long after Castro dies do you think it will take for McDonalds to move in and cigars to be sold here in the US?But yet you insist my "empire" is falling down.

Thank you,
Eric

Was that a structured, thought-out post?;)

Well I agree with you on some of your points, and so will others; I agree people should support their own troops, I just think we should support all troops, and civilians equally.

I agree about those fighting for equality, and what has resulted from it, I think the P.C. wars resulted in niche marketting, not too much else.

The 60's has gone, and the kids are apathetic. However if they don't get what they want, the consumeristic status quo will go nuts. From an early age, children screaming in the store...There is still fire there, just needs to be harnessed.

As for Cuba I think reading the Cuba is and will continue to be socialist post would be easier.

hegemonicretrobution,

I made mistakes.I'll leave them. They add charector to my contribution.

Cuba gave us thier insane, violent, and garbage.
Now they all live in Miami and they have a voice.

Castro's own daughter who happens to be a raido voice in Miami thinks he needs to die. That says alot.

Hegemonicretribution
29th March 2003, 11:15
Well now its more civil in here :) Yes there are some bad points about Cuba, but not all live in Miami. Cuba may not have all the same oppurtunities, but offers security. Of both a great education sytem and healthcare system, for all. Housing is important also.

The US may allow them to reach fyrther, if they want, but at what cost? The US, as many capitalist countries, can have what they do at the expense of other capitalist countries. Protectionist policies do not allow them to develop fairly, and the rules of supply and demand get pretty messed up, in the richer country's favour.

I am one of the ones on the board that think aspects from different ideologies are neccessary AND compatible. Maybe it shouldn't be, I'm right you're wrong (left as you would argue), It should be, lets look at the ideologie, "Now where can people be rewarded for their work?" "I know, those that work hardest succeed the most, in anarchy that would be the case. In communism erhaps some sort of reward sytem, that starts again from birth, equal oppurtunity etc.

Do you have any response to what I said? (I make lots of errors as well, but like you said..who cares)

Do you think that instead of treating each other as diametrically opposed, we should find ways to mix positive elemnts of all ideologes.

Shit I have to go, will check for response tonight.

"We are a republic, not an empire." What, Chiak47, are you waiting for the coronation before you admit the obvious? After Florida, your "democratic" credentials are in the toilet. After the Patriot Act, your "republican" credentials are in the toilet.

Face it, you're part of a world-wide empire now. One that you support.

"The walls do not have so much as a crack." Except you haven't pacified Afghanistan or Iraq or the Phillippines or Colombia. Your ambitions may include Iran, Syria, Venezuela, and North Korea...but they seem rather unwilling and at least one of them has nukes. And there's your new imperial rival, China...which may prove, um, difficult to manage.

And then there's "old Europe"...the birthplace of the enlightenment, the Rights of Man, and the Communist Manifesto. What if they should rise to the occasion one more time to defend civilization against your predations?

It's an odd thing about empires...they look so strong, so mighty, so invincible...and in an unexpected moment they crumble away like sand castles in the tides. Afterwards, of course, all the pundits say they knew it was coming, blah, blah, blah. The trick is to see it coming ahead of time.

I appreciate, of course, your tribute to "my generation"...though it was only a minority that played an active role in events. Yes, in a way, we "brought the country to its knees"...and for that history will honor us. It is no disgrace to lose in an honorable cause.

But I've never used methadone, a drug initially developed in the 3rd Reich and called "Adolphine". It's popularity in America is understandable.

History does not really repeat itself; the fledging anit-imperialist movement bares little resemblence to the movement of the 1960s. Times are different. But as I said in an earlier post, things happen faster now than when I was young; people learn the limitations of capitalist/imperialist politics more quickly and move on to more advanced radical positions. There may well never be another SDS or, for that matter, another Comintern. Those were old forms for old battles; there will be new forms for new battles. People in struggle are remarkably inventive...the next great rebellions will make the 1960s look like what they actually were...a prelude.

"These kids have no heart." I think history will decide that one, Chiak47.

Likewise, the fate of socialist Cuba still hangs in the balance. I certainly admit the possibility that America may be able to reclaim its wayward and disobedient colony...at least for a while. But if you think it will simply fall into your lap...

You appear to be under the impression that because Jesse Jackson has developed a successful hustle--he is a master of "the American way", I must concede--that African-Americans are "cool" with the prevailing and still racist social order. That's a mistake, Chiak47. And in a city like Chicago, a very dangerous mistake.

Pretty much everything you say that isn't just mindless insult boils down to "we're winning and we'll keep winning." A helpful mantra, perhaps, and one that certainly obviates the need to actually think about politics and economics.

Since you're a sports fan, you must be aware of all the warning cliches about over-confidence on the field of play. Teams that think they've won the game just by showing up are often bitterly disappointed.

It kind of works like that in history, too. :cheesy:
