i know its kinda early but for halloween me and some of my friends MIGHT tag up our whole area with 'revolutionary tags' so if you have any suggestions wether they are slogans or signs please let me know just remember that they would have to be short enough because the pigs will be out in full force.

If you know the pigs are going out in full force then why do it that night? Go out at 3-4 in the morning on a sunday night. Holidays are a good time too.

My suggestion is that you don't do it. Get a job, and work in your unions.

I suggest that you come up with a good alibi and maybe think things through a little better because you just admitted to a crime.
Don't brag about/associate yourself with crime in public man. Shit, thats stupid.

Yeah, listen to this guy, go waste your time away in organizations which are doomed to reform. That's what we need. Fuck youth, burning yourself out with useless actions left over from the start of the 20th centure, now thats revolutionary.

*yawn*.
Just because people do a bit of street decorating, doesn't mean that they don't also have a job or work in a union.
More to the point, putting up street art can be lots of fun, and if you can't have fun, then why bother having a revolution?
Remember kids, if I can't put my graf. on public walls, then it ain't my revolution.

Eh, I don't think "revolutionary graffiti" has much use these days. I used to do it and thought I was actually doing something, but I don't believe it really amounts to much. If you're going to do graffiti, just do tags and make art. Sure, it can be fun, but don't fool yourself into thinking that it's actually a very revolutionary act. Revolutions aren't built by scrawling on walls.

I'm just giving you some advice, no need to be sarcastic. But hey, when I was doing "revolutionary graffiti" and people told me it wasn't very useful, I didn't listen either.

Be overly cautious. Just make sure you and your friends aren't going to be acting like a bunch of idiots. Oh yeah... have fun!

I know it seems cool, but it's really not a substitute for organizing, and certainly not a way to start out organizing. Just spraying up slogans and logos doesn't do anything for our cause, especially when it's not backed up with organizing. Then it's just paint on the walls with nothing meaningful behind it. If you've got enough people to go tagging, why not consider organizing something a little more meaningful? I know it doesn't sound fun or cool, but I found out it was a lot more rewarding and helpful. I hope I don't sound like an old codger scolding the youth, I'm only 17. If you want some help finding leftist shit in your area, I'd be happy to help and so would most people on here. If you look in the right spots it usually isn't too hard to find something.

the guys im goin out with are just kinda 'anti-state' rather than leftists. this is the problem they might want to get rid of the state like me but the similarities end there and the fact that there is at least two nazi gangs in my area wont help in setting up a group because if they hear about it they will stomp it out before we get enough support to oppose them so iv decided to just continue to learn more about communism etc and then when im more educated and informed ill try and organise a group

You shouldn't be surprised. And if you're planning on doing anything related to leftism in the future, you should find some more reliable people. You'd probably be better off if you shifted your focus to real organizing. It's not as fun as running around in the dark painting walls, but it gets shit done. If you do keep doing graffiti, I'd recommend you just do it for fun and don't mix it with politics, unless it's clever and good looking enough to be worth it. Very few people really care about crude circle-A's and whatnot thrown up on walls. I'm an anarchist and even I don't get anything out of it when I see it. If you want help woth organizing, there's tons of people here who can give you advice, myself included. Just think about whether you want to be some kid spraying walls with slogans or someone who's actually engaged in the class struggle. I don't mean to preach or be condescending, but I think I've been where you are and it sucks.

ye i totaly agree but as iv said before there is so many things that are in the way
1. im on my own i dont know of anyone in my area with left wing ideals
2.the guys i know that are potentially left wing are really just anti state nothing more.
3. there is two nazi gangs that i know of in my area and there influence is pretty strong so if they hear of a lonley communist trying to organise they will come down hard so im kinda on my own at the moment
