I think it's funny.I have too admit at first I was pissed.
But now I figure oh well.

I have a job.They rotate layoffs so they don't have too lay off 2 people.So if I have too take a week or so off-so someone else or myself can keep his/her job than so be it.

Anyways it's good for people to struggle when they are young.

I've had all kinds of jobs.Railroad.Construction.Industrial Fabrication.I love working with my hands.I went to school to learn to weld.

Now I'm working for a production company that helps design sets for tv/movies/theater/ads

I make scenery out of metal (welder) for plays here in Chicago.I really like it except for all the Univ Of Chicago students I work with.J/K some of them are ok..
They are Talented people.

It pays the bills...Except for now..
My wife makes good money.She is a loan officer for a large bank here in the city.
She is the love of my life and I would kill to protect her and our children/nephew.

A union helped me go to school.
I did not like the politics involved and knowing my money was going into pockets of local gun grabbers.
So I finished school found another job and I have been union free (kinda) since.It's hard getting good pay for construction jobs without unions.

I freelanced on weekends.
I patched holes in dump trucks, put up steel fences and several other monkey jobs.With my own equipment it's not hard to make $50 hr cash.Small jobs that only take 4-5 hrs to complete.

I also worked for a landscaping company last year in AZ.I hated that job,Hot and my boss was a asshole.
I put in sprinkler systems in multi million $ houses and I only made $9.00 hr cash.

So like you I too have done loads of things.I could tell you about the 1 day I worked a Wendy's when I was a teen.I was a bag boy at a jewell food store in Chicago when I was a teen.I stayed there for a year.Come to think-that was a union job also.
You will find something you will like to do.
