Do you not get it :

1) most of us have seen what passes for reasonable debate from right wingers.

but more importantly

2) Those forums are not for debating whether socialism or capitalism is better; if you want to do that and others want to join in you can do it here, nothing stops you. Those forums are for educating ourselves and others about socialism, we would have no interest in allowing you to pollute them and downgrade the contents.

Fear of your argument has nothing to do with it. They are quite simply not for that. Suppose you try and explain why anything you want to post in those forums cannot be posted here ? Does your browser have a preference for socialism or something ? I dont blame it.

Hope fully there is no chance this thin end of the wedge will be allowed.

Personally I have dabbled in Smith and Hayeck, just for an insight, just the wealth of nations and such...that was wuite recently, but I wanted to understand why I opposed the ideology, and I don't particually. I just think there are better ones, just as I think there are better ones to communism. In fact I think a utopia would need elements of communism, anarchy, liberalism, to be democraticand would need some CAPITALISM in it as well.

I am not totally opposed, howebver I am very opposed to the protectionist pile of crap we have today.

One more thing . This particular board is called Opposing Ideolgies. Know what in six weeks I have never seen anybody post an opposing ideology or anything about one despite requests that they do so. What I've seen is people make exactly the same nonsense statements about socialism that I perosnally have corrected probably 100 times and those same people constantly clamour to be recognised for the geniuses they think themselves.

Spme of them break the rules incessantly then break them again after they have been banned by coming back.

Quite simply few of you guys have anything interesting to say or any respect for those who do. You are just vandalistic trolls stealing the time of people who must refute your accusations or risk having them accepted as truht by the casual, interested, but uninformed visitor.

I come here because here in the other forums I can read some decent stuff without wading through 10,000 variations of 'You are a dirty hippy / commie and all commies love Stalin and there would be no motivation and its been proved not to work'.
