I was interested to learn what activism comrades were up to.

At the moment I am involved in an anti-OTC/Military campaign at Sheffield University, an anti-casualisation campaign. I have unionised my work place and am in the process of fighting for recognition and to get a fellow worker reinstated after being sacked for union activity - this is all with IWW. We have been doing stuff around anti-academies, but that's been shot dead by Respect/SWP; hopefully that can be salvaged. We are also trying to set up a "know your rights" for people who live or use the streets/substance dependents. Generally people who constantly get harassed by the police and council officials who are euphemistcally called "City Centre Ambassadors". ALso involved in other bits and bats like writing/editing and hooby dooby.

Let the good times role...:)

Not much right now :( Until quite recently I was pretty involved with an asylum support project here in Glasgow and I also help out on the Glasgow Anarchists stall of a weekend. Oh and the odd bit of hooby dooby as well :)

I go to counter recuiment a event at with the AFSC in north carolina. what ussally happens is a lot of old working class males sit around and talk about how srewed up the goverment in the US is and how it effects them the most. it is quite insipational. I also go to a peace vigil on a crouded street every monday night run by labors for peace here in greensboro were basicly sayin get the hell out of Iraq. I tried some labor uninizing at at chicken plant in Sanford NC, but i did not get very far I it was cool there I got every on to put there fists up in the air for a brief about 50 % if the workers are hispanic and about half of them work on fake papers. I spent most of my time translatein to unit poor blacks, whites, and hispanics. the work was so hard, i sort of sad but relived i am back in college now

Currently the main focus is organising the anual protests against the NATO security conference in munich, that will be happening in february. Other than that mostly things in my organisation (the SDAJ) like increasing the security, and planning a "how to act on/before/after protests camp".

Nothing. All my plans end up terribly and I'm a person easily discouraged, and without any leadership I crawl back home and cry at night.

See you've got no commitment. I scorn the actions of others as counter productive from the safety of my computer desk!
How's that for commitment.

I wish I could say I was still chaining myself to pharmecutical drug company doors and throwing pink voodoo dolls are senators that vote down funding for people living with AIDS, but allas at this point in my life, I'm lucky to donate small amounts of money to organizations I believe in, and am caregiver to an aging sick comrade, RS2K, I met here.

I joined some college group (it's not necessarily that radical, I doubt I can make it radical {you know, the "entryism" stuff}, and my first thought in my mind is to not let the group push me to the right; although that's why I have revleft: to keep me to the actual left)...haven't done anything yet.

I'm probably the only anarchist (or communist for that matter) in this college, until a friend of mine enrolls here for next semester (then there're 2).
