:laugh:greasy 'ginger' students of the anti nazi league?? what an ironic statement is that! All i can say is as a 'ginger' myself, i'm proud not to be sharing the same beliefs as him:tt2:. I'v seen this lad on TV before, and from what i say from the clips he is a lot more deluded than I thought. Giving children like him that kind of exposure is a dangerous thing as he will appeal to other sad lonely fantasists who have nothing else..frankly im amazed he's got a girlfriend.

its a shame that they couldnt have got someone of higher political calibre to make this. Russell Brand just came across as a n00b.

russel is awsome for this and makes it funny and gives a clear message to people who aren't already fully 'left'

i still think it was a wasted opportunity in terms of nazi 0wnag3. The likes of Mark Thomas or Bill Bailey would have tore him to shreds when he started talking crap about alliances between the big media and the left wing.

Well, would the guy have agreed to star on a show that was headed by prominent lefty comedians like Thomas or Bailey(lefty?), it would be obvious that he'd be made into a laughing stock, even if it is claimed to be a 'neutral look at British nationalism'. Whereas Brand wasn't a household name at the time and this was a episode of a series of documntaries he presented.

I didn't care much about Russell before, but I think he did a good job with that. That's exactly what we need: ways to make these people and their pathetic little opinions look ridiculous. Make people laugh at them for the scared Little Englanders they are. Had they sent some super-serious leftist or outraged liberal instead, chances are the BNP guy would have started sneering or laughing at them, which would have made him look good to the audience.

To watch that Mark guy becoming smaller and more insecure by the minute is a sadistic experience par excellence. I really enjoyed watching this.

Well, there's a bit of sadism in all of us, and this documentary aims for it to some extent, doesn't it? It's a bit like a cat that enjoys torturing a mouse before finishing it off. :)

What a shame there was no equivalent crescendo in the Brand/collett experience.

Good point.

Perhaps it's an enditement of the lack of prospective class conscious comedic talent.
