I am not a cappie, but here is a good American song:
War
Edwin Starr
Oh no-there's got to be a better way
Say it again
There's got to be a better way-yeah
What is it good for?
*War has caused unrest
Among the younger generation
Induction then destruction
Who wants to die?
War-huh
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing
Say it again
War-huh
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing
Yeah
War-I despise
'Cos it means destruction
Of innocent lives
War means tears
To thousands of mothers how
When their sons go off to fight
And lose their lives
I said
War-huh
It's an enemy of all mankind
No point of war
'Cos you're a man
*(Repeat)
Give it to me one time-now
Give it to me one time-now
War has shattered
Many young men's dreams
We've got no place for it today
They say we must fight to keep our freedom
But Lord, there's just got to be a better way
It ain't nothing but a heartbreaker
War
Friend only to the undertaker
War
War
War-Good God, now
Now
Give it to me one time now
Now now
What is it good for?
;)

Hmm I guess war is ok for only commie's who believes Afganistan is thiers for the taking. What about Hungary man don't forget Hungary.
The Hungarians stood up against the soviets only to get whacked back to the gulags.

Interesting how the lyrics of this song enabled you to reach those conclusions.
If this is a thread for good American songs, I have put forward one I like...if you meant the title to be "Good American Pro-War Songs" or "Good American Songs that Justify American Policy" then that was your mistake, not mine. ;)

good point.Since I was asking cappies and you posted that drivel I put two and two together and came to the conclusion that you are not a cappie.
It's ok though since we all can't be perfect.
Us cappies Believe in individualism.

The last time I checked, I was free to post in most threads on this board, unlike some members who are restricted to this forum. So, until I am banned from posting in here, get used to it.
You hardly had to put two and two together to come up with that as I said in the first line of my post that I wasn't a cappie.
And I was referring to the conclusions you reached regarding the lyrics of the song I posted and Afghanistan and Hungary.
It's ok though since we all can't be perfect.
Depends on who is defining it, I expect.

Cause you are an elitist like most on this board and I am mearly part of the masses.
Come over to a American forum and you can post anything anywhere you want.
It's grand.
Hell you might get some great stock tips.

Hmmm...part of the masses? Then why are most of the people on this board, with the exception of the few who are relegated to this forum, leftists?
Elitist...I should think that if a board advertises itself as a board for leftists or socialists then one would expect to find a group of people that fit that description. If someone decides to frequent that board with sentiments clearly in opposition to what the board was designed for, there is always the option to leave.
Come over to a American forum and you can post anything anywhere you want.
It's grand.
I can already do that here and on other boards.

Like a good leftist liberal you strive to twist my words all around.
Anywho,I really do not care.Remember kiddies only a few make it to the top of a commie utopia.Where as in capitalism EVERYONE has a chance to make it big.Look at Bill Gates.
I would also like to take this time to extend my gratitude
to you sick twisted commies for letting me park my ass to the far right on your board.

Like a good leftist liberal you strive to twist my words all around.
There really wasn't anything significant to twist round. Care to elucidate?
Where as in capitalism EVERYONE has a chance to make it big.Look at Bill Gates.
Yeah...everyone who can afford a chance.
I am really not interested in getting into a discussion about Communism v Capitalism with you or anyone else. In fact, I really only wanted to post a good American song, which I have done. Whether you like it or not, is another question, and I am not particularly interested in that answer either. ;)

I don't like it.
What's that other song?
It goes *bad singing voice*
What we fighting for?
I don't give a damn
Now off to Vietnam
and it's 1-2-3-4
Kinda catchy.Didnt the lead singer die of a overdose.
Now that's catchy.
For lafties that is.
What do you guys do hand out opium BEFORE the rallys start?
Clear heads people. But then again if the Masses were sober there would be no masses.
Just Elitist's sitting at the top with nobody to watch over.

Just the truth baby.Just the truth.
RedFW

Well then, while you are in "truth" speaking mood, would you care to elucidate your comments regarding my twisting of you words, or are you conveniently avoiding it?
And don't call me baby.

You know damn well only a few rise to the top of the commie food chain.
The rest have no voice.
Now not all commie groupings have this in place YET.Cause before your revolutions you make everyone feel like they are important. It's the cool thing to do etc etc.But after Commies suck the life out of a country and the fun revolution is over. Then a mass majority of the population gets shit on.
Hence Elitist.
Here in America one does have a advantage if they come from a family with money.
But there are enough ways to pull yourself up and be sucessfull.
Many a corporations were started in basements.
I have 2 very good friends who are quite sucessfull with there own shop that they started with $2000 and a garage.
So it can happen.
Hey I'll be the first to admit America has alot of problems. But it really does have alot of good also.

That is country Joe McDonald and the Fish. Ol' Joe didn't die of overdose, but was Janis Joplin's squeeze till she died.
So, chiak47, I am sure that some of the other, respectable capitalist who loiter around this board will quickly seperate themselves from you, because you seem to have little point in anything you say (not that the rest do, either).

thats it.Thanks for clearing that up.
WTF was he thinking when he was banging her?
He should have gotten a injection of lead just for even thinking of boning that ugly ass broad.
As far as the other cappies.I think they can make up there own minds.
Again cappies are all for individualism.
No script here kiddie.

This is me still waiting for you to address my previous posts, but I won't hold my breath. And even if you do answer them, your language is so elliptical, I don't think I will waste any more time with you.

I wouldn't bother posting anything until your posts become less elliptical. On that note, I will politely bow out of this thread.
