Ok I wasn't sure where this should go it does involve some politics so I decided here would be good. Anyways as I'm sure most people living the USA know every 10 years they do the census and at that time they draw new congressional districts and from those districts we get our congressperson in the house of representatives . Now we vote for new congressperson every two years so there is a 10 year, 5 time opportunity in which to screw with the house of representatives. All you need is a large group of people to be who would be willing to move at a moments notice :)
Anyways I know that it would be really hard to pull off but if done right we'd get people into the house of representatives and when the next ten years come about they would influence the drawing of the districts. So thought, idea, comments, love to hear them

Just to screw with the system for the most part. Its flawed so why not take advantage? And hopefully if it works and you get a snow ball effect an you get more communist and/or anarchist into positions of power. But um besides that I got nothing I was hoping some one else might be able to use it for something...

Along with the last guy's idea to "sneak in" a communist candidate, RevLeft is quickly becoming the place where crackpot conspiracy theories on communism become reality.

Electing another Bernie Sanders (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernie_Sanders) is not likely to do much good. (Electing the first one didn't--I'm guessing you've never even heard of him). You should probably look into socialist arguments against parliamentarism, aka representative democracy.
Probably the best way is to think about alternatives to it. I find this (http://www.powr-prm.org/whowillsave.html#9) to be a good thumbnail sketch of a truly democratic society would look like. Also look at some concepts like direct democracy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Direct_democracy) and delegate (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delegate) on Wiki. For something more in-depth check out this essay (http://faculty.msb.edu/hasnasj/gtwebsite/MythFinalDraft.pdf). Maybe other people have stuff to add.
BTW I'm also pretty sure your idea just wouldn't work. The drawing of congressional districts can't be 100% determined by objective facts from the census or else gerrymandering wouldn't be possible.

So...we're going to fuck around with the congressional districts so we can sneak communists in to power? Do you get how un-communist that is? And do you get how ridiculous it sounds to put anarchists in positions of power?
