I've posted here before, as you can probably guess by my post count, but not for a while now, so I figured I should post another introduction.

So, basically, I'm a Kantian mutualist from Michigan. That pretty much sums up my entire philosophical and political approach to anything and everything.

Hello! That's an interesting philosophic porridge, no? How did you get to it?

Well, I started out as a more socialist type of person, moved to anarcho-syndicalism, and then to mutualism.

As for my philosophy, when I originally started learning about it, I took the stances of empiricism and utilitarianism. Somehow I went all the way over to Kantian philosophy...

Haha, dunno, I seriously don't remember how I chose my username.

Most anarchists around here seem to be disciples of Malatesta and Kropotkin.

It's interesting (and good) to see a different viewpoint every once and awhile.

What the hell is a "Kantian mutualist"? I know who Kant was, and I know what Mutualism is, but how do you join the two?

Oh, and I seem to remember you being here before, though you never did post very much... Hopefully you'll stay around longer this time.

It is nice to see different viewpoints (one of the reasons I like you being around). Though, truth be said, Malatesta did write a lot of good stuff regarding "without adjectives", which some of the people on this board really should pay more attention to...

Welcome back. Be prepared to be attacked by sectarian anarchists for espousing something different than the norm. I welcome your presence. :)

Easy. Personally, I don't see how one can be a Kantian and NOT be a mutualist. Kantians are opposed to all forms of coercion, lying, etc. and mutualism is the only political philosophy, IMO, that takes that into account. Any kind of government, for example, would have to engage in stealing (taxation) to allow itself to exist, which is immoral in Kantianism.
