I found that site about Che, one thing that stuck out was something he said when he was captured, "Do not shoot! I am Ch Guevara and worth more to you alive than dead.

Is the website and the above quote correct?

There no evidence, just witnesses.

he said "Shoot me coward you will only kill a man. "

The quote in the OP is just bourgeois garbage

Honestly, who the fuck cares.

He could have bawled and whined like a newborn and it wouldn't make the slightest difference to me.

Is the fact that his economic plan failed true? (as described in the link)

he said both ( i believe). "Do not shoot! I am Ch Guevara and worth more to you alive than dead.” right as they were capturing him. and then "Shoot me coward you will only kill a man. " right before his execution.

Why have those different tones? The first one seems cowardice, the second one seems brave.

He probably had resigned himself to his fate at that point.

Maybe because he went through the "psychological cycle of accepting death" between those 2 and the 1st one was during a heated battle?

Either way, just like Agora, I don't care much.

Well, at first he was probably thinking that he could escape after they captured him. Bravery doesn't mean throwing your life away pointlessly when there is still some chance that you could escape and live to fight another day. Bravery means using any means necessary to fight the enemy; and you can't fight when you're dead, so you should always try to stay alive unless it is necessary to sacrifice your life to achieve an important objective. When Che was captured, he wouldn't have achieved anything or saved anyone by sacrificing his life, so there was no reason for him to do it.

Later, he probably realized he couldn't escape, so he resigned himself to his inevitable death.

You mean Che is human? Surely you jest.

I've heard this before by some idiot College Republican sychophant, who acted as if he wouldn't do the same damn thing in such a situation.

those are just hypotheticals, they are not even sure that they discovered his grave yet,not to know what he said before his dead.I think both of the statements above have been "made" from the both sides of how they see che,the one side that wanted to make him seem coward made the i am che etc etc thing, and the other side adoring che have made the stor that he didnt afraid of dead and he was brave etc.I dont believe neither of "statements".The people who know are those who executed him and i dont wait from them hearing the truth.

First off, most people pointing this out would likely do the same in that situation.
Second, there is no recording, so we can only know from witnesses, and given the circumstances..any witness that remained alive to testify on his last words were probably hostile to him.

Dr. Wiki E. Pedia claims that the soldier that shot him testified that Che did say, "Shoot me coward you will only kill a man. ".
