View Full Version : And Communsim is perfect?

Put aside all the America bashing for a moment, and let us look at the dark side of communism that so many of you are intent on glorifying.
Remember this one: In the spring of 1989, Beijing was temporarily taken over by tens of thousands of students calling for an end to corruption and for the establishment of democracy in China. They were eventually crushed ruthlessly by the Chinese army in June, but not before they were able to politically call into question the legitimacy of the Communist Chinese party.
Hmm, thank God I live in America. Here, if a protest takes place, the national guard is not sent out in full force with the idea of murdering it's own citizens--wait, that is what Saddam has done in the past.
All in all, Communism and Saddam=the murder of it's own innocent citizens=clean and healthy government=ruthless and unorganized dictatorships.

1) China is state capitalism not communism. It is a disgrace that tehy claim themselves to be communist.
2) Communists do not support Saddam, we just support Imperialism less.
3) America has supplied Saddam with weapons and allowed him to murder these civilians up to 1991. And since 1991 they have allowed the Turks to bomb the Kurds. You support America, yet its track record is far worse.
4) ;unorganized dictorship; that is an oxymoron.

America supplied weapons to Iraq so they could defend themselves against Iran, not to kill his own people. America's intentions are always legitimate from the get go.

American interests are always what is best for America. They will not give the Kurd's an independant nation and stood and watched while Saddam killed the Kurds. And they have watched as the Turks have done the same. By supplying the weapons and not pushing the buttons before or during the genocide they share the blood. They could have stopped it then but refused to. It may stop now, but how many innocents will die on the way? America is not pure.
But my point on Kurdistan. I believe it will not be granted because of the oil fields that would go to the Kurds. They would make a socialist state aswell. Not liek isreal.

1- u fuckedup the title.
2- watch who u insulting there. better see what kind of stuff this 'motherfucker' writes before calling him ignorant.
3- to sum up, America helped Saddam get to power, they provided him with all the tools his dictatorship needed, they ignored his actions against his people for decades, and u wanna call America legit'? i'd rather live under an oppressive regime than live in ur fantasy land.
Here, if a protest takes place, the national guard is not sent out in full force with the idea of murdering it's own citizens

"America helped Saddam get to power"
That is not true. He was already in power when the Shah of Iran fell, and he was only supported because the Iatollah took an Anti-American stance...But they have helped him stay in power for the last 20 years. If they didn't Iraq would be a principlaity of Iran. Yet America supported him through the worst of the atrocities.

Guys, read the first post. "Put aside all the America bashing for a moment". That being said...
I don't know much about China yet, because I'm studying the USSR first.
However, you cannot base the efficiency of communism on one event done under the name of the Communist Party - this happened after Mao died.
To me? Communism is perfect. Why? Because communism is my, our, ideal community. Ideal, utopian, whatever you want to call it.
Living in the US there are still riot police and etc, but I won't go into the US since we want to stay on the topic of Communism - yet you strayed off into talking about America yourself.
Saddam Hussein? Who said any of us support him?

thx pete,
but wasn't the American gov responsible in part for Kassim's fall and the Ba'ath party's rise? surely u cant deny the CIA's help in bringing the Ba'ath party to complete ruling of iraq...and thus ultimately Saddam himself.. anyone disagree?

Why do we see this a lot? Ignorant bashing of communism. I think it gets annoying, how many times must we tell these fools what communism is, and isnt?
When you first enter this site, you are told that if you are a capitalist or a fool, fuck off, its for your own good. If you dont come here we cant prove you wrong, and call you an idiot. Before you start stating stuff that proves itself wrong just by reading it a bit, wait, maybe you should try READING. Get some background information. Now I am done yelling.
China, as the genius CrazyPete said, is state capitalist. Whenever communism was tried, it died before a day passed. Communism is perfect, it is not a utopian society, it is a scientific society. Free Capitalism is kinda a utopian society, for those who are intelligent and get rich.
I am predicting that, because you came to this site and imediatly started spewing shit, that you believe Communism is the opposite of Democracy. I will say no more.

How do you know he's ignorant? It gets annoying to see people labeling all capitalists as idiots and ignorant.
What is wrong with a capitalist joining the site? You do realize that there is a Opposing Ideologies forum for a reason, don't you? In your post you have not proved any of his posts wrong (his=Atlas Shrugged). Why don't you prove him wrong? Go read about Red China after Mao's death.
"Communism is perfect, it is not a utopian society"
Hahahahaha.
Ohhhhhh, your prediction!!! You sure did prove him wrong. What the hell does this prediction of yours have to do with anything?

Actually, I know some of the capitalists here respect some of the communists. Anyway, my point was that labeling someone ignorant just by hearing the word communist or capitalist is annoying.
why would i cheer for this dude
Who asked you to cheer for him?

LOL, because this is the way CNN told you it happened yeah? Deng and co were and are a bunch of Capitalists and while the U$ was dealing and aiding them with most favoured nation to trade with it was the left who saw the Chinese CP for what it had become. Those protestors weren't fighting for any American dream of so called 'Democracy', they were carrying pictures of Mao for god's sake. Yes you are correct to point out that they protested against 'corruption' and the like, a popular saying was 'Mao's son died in Korea' in reference to the fact that 28 out of the 30 millionaires under 25 in China were sons of party officials.

Zombie, the point is that if you fight fire with fire you are no comrade of mine. You can not show your intelligence by degrading others through flaming them. If they do it to do you can educate them by showing them the 'light'. Show that you are above petty insults.
If you disagree show why. Calling him ignorant for being the opposite view point as you is stupid. We are the antithesis, if you will, to their capitalistic thesis.
I know I am guilty of these. But I am trying to be as objective as possible.

This was not taken from CNN, I don't even watch that news source. It was taken from a book entitled "The End of History and The Last Man" written by Francis Fukuyama who was not even born in the United States.

Yes, that was an excellent book, Atlas. I read it about 6 months ago.
