Met someone who was flapping one wing and running in circles. This person had heard that the US had given Turkey permission to attack the Kurds in return for the right to base US troops Turkey.

Clearly this can't be true because the US can't grant Turkey the right to attack Kurds. That right is not the US's to give and so this statement fails the first test of reasonableness.

My question to anyone who will answer: Is there a website or news agency that is putting out this kind of nonsense? Has anyone heard or read this anywhere? I'd love to know where this nonsense comes from.

America has been letting Turkey attack the Kurds as long as the no fly zone has been in tact. Why stop it now? I have heard that in lectures by three teachers, one left, one far right, one centrist.
