Just a notice. I'm sure most people know. It is 8.06. I put this here so everyone could reply.

The war begins...

The war began when the Bush Junta stole the votes from Al, when he was selected. This is just a physical manifestation of his bullshit.

That is laughable. Remember this (http://www.csmonitor.com/atcsmonitor/specials/wh2000/stories/1213goretalk.html)?

Don't hate on me, this is the responsibility of Mr. Hussein, not me or the USA

Saddam Hussein had ample, ample, ample, ample, ample, ample, ample, ample opportunity to prevent this.

He chose to violate the UN

He chose to defy us.

Now he will pay.

I don't feel bad in the least, and I make no apologies for what I consider just and benevolent action.

It's not a godamn football game.

Bombs away?

What the fuck do you think bombs do? They kill people dipshit. If you are for for the bombs, not everysingle bomb dropped is a precision guided missle, most like around 86% of them are all gravity driven, messy, death causing bombs.

It's not like we're deliberately targeting civilians. We'd like to minimize those types of casualties.

But hey, ya' know, shit happens.

It has been comformed. The first casualities where INNOCENT CIVILIANS. America's first target was SUBURBAN AREA using weapons they admitt are EXTREMELY INACCURATE and they did not believe they had a good chance of hitting thier target with SATELLITE GUIDED bombs.

Nothing like that has been confirmed, CrazyPete, lets not get ahead of ourselves.

1 woman is dead. A Jordan national. 14 Iraqis are injured. The target was in suburban area. The strike was called highly inaccurate.

I am not in fault. Perhaps it is your source that is in fault, and will refuse to talk of civilian casualities?

M1 Abrams
20th March 2003, 16:26
CrazyPete, Nothing like that has been reported. If so then back it up with sources. Unless you were there. And if some innocents did die then it is a tragedy. But as I posted in another thread, there are two kinds of people in the world: Those who would kill a single child to cure cancer, and those who wouldn't. I would. FOR THE GREATER GOOD. You can't make an omlet without breaking some eggs. And for those who are so opposed to military action I'm still seeing ads in the paper for human shields.

"Iraqi Information Minister Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf said the U.S. strikes killed one person, hit a customs office and some empty Iraqi TV buildings, among other targets.

Fourteen people were treated at local hospitals, but none appeared linked to Saddam, Iraqi doctors said. The wounded reportedly included six members of a suburban Baghdad family who were eating breakfast and were hit by shrapnel, and an Iraqi television journalist." --- CBS NEWS (http://www.cbc.ca/cp/world/030320/w032052.html)

if CCCP didnt colapse we wouldnt have this problem...
it would have veto USA and even if necessary directly defy the western forces...
though authoritarian CCCP was most of the times here to protect the third world...

Yeah, you know if Iraq had remained part of the British empire for a longer period of time we wouldn't have this problem either.

What horseshit. I suggest you don't bother, you really are wasting your time, All I've seen you do is shout rhetoric. That's all, absolutely all.

you know if Iraq had remained part of the British empire for a longer period of time we wouldn't have this problem either.

That may be true, but if there had never been a British empire the problem wouldn't exist.

I listen to the 680AM radio. A right-leaning station. Well it supports the Canadian government who has condemed both BUSH and SADDAM on this war. It has been reported. The US is not allowing the Red Cross to look at the apartment building they bombed, or the National Library.
