Just created this thread to see what kind of music you all like.
I personnally like a little bit of everything, but mostly Hardcore, Hardstyle, Jumpstyle, Hands Up!, House, Electro...
Techno reminds me of the spirit of rave and free parties, nothing better then a bunch of peoples in the middle of a field just jumping around to the electronic sound that overflows your ears...:blackA:
Something you'll rarely see with other kinds of music.

Noise, Rock (especially kraut, glam, proto-punk, post-punk, punk, surf, 50s and garage rock), Jazz (big band for the drummers and free-from jazz because it's awesome), Blues (aslong as isnt smooth, slick, polished blues where they wank the guitar instead of playing a nice blues riff on it), Reggae, Ska, (if actually done right) Dancehall, Dub, Spoken Word, Hip-Hop, R&B (old R&B that is!), soul, funk and some folk (like Woody Guthrie or Phil Ochs).

How come nobody likes techno in the US? It can't have anything to do with taste since 50cent and Soulja crap are considerated as artists...

I listen to a lot of post-rock. Some of my favorite post-rock artists are God is an Astronaut, The American Dollar, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Explosions in the Sky, Strange Death of Liberal England, A Silver Mt. Zion, Do Make Say Think, Youth Pictures of Florence Henderson, Yndi Halda, and Sigur Ros and Mogwai. Of course I like other genres as well.

. . .not really the person to ask, but I don't like techno because it's modernized disco.
Don't know about others. . .
