Hey all..

Hey i'm Hostage, 18 years old from Malta.

Been lurking around for 43 days after I registered (so says the little sign at the top) to understand and learn more stuff about how the community works.

I'm quite interested in the left, but my knowledge is very limited right now, so after reading bits and pieces I thought that I'll finally immerge myself within this community.

Our little island does have some problems, so I wish to learn more so I can help my people towards a red future.

Haha the football team does suck in an unbeliavible manner.

And it does reflect one of the major problems here, apathy.

Besides that, we do have democrats who can't even grow some balls to save their own lives, fascists with no real credibility manipulating the youth into xenophobes and racists, using their 'fear' to produce teenage anger.

The population is mostly racist, we have alot of immigrants coming in from africa, so the fascists (they call themselves New Right, and their facebook group is affilated with the National Bolschevik Party) are quite enjoying the ride, even though they don't get much votes in the elections.

We do have some "leftist" movements, we have a group called Moviment Grafitti (a group of liberitarians sporting rasta clothing and a couple of punks , about 15 people in total) which i personally see ineffective, cosidering the type of people we have here which seem to be living in the past.

But near the problems you guys face, i think this is kiddy stuff.. and we dont have much to do in political terms besides watching all of them rot in their masochism of being governent whores.
