Here's some reposts from the Twin Cities Indymedia on actions that have occurred in the week leading up to the RNC, and while the DNC occurs in Denver.
St. Paul Obama Office Vandalized
In the early hours of Sunday August 24th, the first day of action against the Democratic National Convention in Denver, a Barack Obama campaign office was attacked in St. Paul.
Two windows and a glass door were smashed out. Paint bombs were thrown at the exterior and interior of the building.
Today our friends in Denver will stand up to the electoral spectacle despite the violent threats of the police. Those who attacked this office stand in solidarity with our friends and loved ones in Denver. We look forward to seeing them in the streets.

Spontaneous Critical Mass Takes to the Streets of Minneapolis
"Do you guys always roll in packs?"
This evening around 10pm a spontaneous critical mass of approximately 25 people took to the streets of Minneapolis for a good time. Snaking around the city and taking over many major thoroughfares , random riders from the streets joined as the ride continued. Several police vehicles were passed, but none gave the cyclists any hassle... chickenshits. After traversing the streets for an hour and a half and helping with a pro-choice scavenger hunt occurring at the same time, the riders decided to disperse and head home.
This was a completely impromptu action. If we can do this while hanging out with our friends, so can you. Given the public nature of this action and the fact we received no hassle, imagine what sort of other trouble you could get into in the dark...
Looking forward to seeing more friends in the coming week...

Wells Fargo Attacked in Minneapolis
Last night we payed a visit to the Wells Fargo bank on West Lake and attacked it with stones. Two windows were smashed.
We did this because it is a bank, specifically because of this banks involvement with the Democratic Party. We wish to show solidarity to those resisting and those arrested in Denver. We hope lead up actions continue here in the Twin Cities.
