The thing which annoys me regarding 'leftists' these days is the blatant naivety and opportunism in their politics, which seem reflexive to the current desires of the audience. As opposed to those of us different tactics and strategies are appropriate at different stages, these 'leftists' think their views are always correct and appropriate in whatever situation and at whatever time, as if they are 'written in stone'. They constantly 'critique' those they perceive as 'authoritarian' from the heavenly bliss of their ivory tower cliques.

By ultra-leftism, I mean that it formulates policies independently of the given concrete circumstances. On the surface, these policies appear very ‘left’ and ‘revolutionary’, but there is nothing to support them in actuality, so that if such policies are carried out, they end up serving the needs of counterrevolution.

I think it's appropriate that such elements need to be weeded out of the revolutionary movement.
