U.S.-led coalition kills 76 Afghan civilians

KABUL (Reuters) - U.S.-led coalition forces killed 76 Afghan civilians in western Afghanistan on Friday, most of them women and children, the Afghan Interior Ministry said.

"Seventy-six civilians, most of them women and children, were martyred today in a coalition forces operation in Herat province," the ministry said in a statement.

So far 50 were children, 19 were women and the rest were men. 76 found dead so far...

This is a war crime. A big sick horrible one. Just think what those kids felt like when they were gunned down by the Americans. I mean they say there going to help out the Afganis. But things like this happen. How can you help someone when you kill them. I really do hate the US.

The coalition denied killing civilians. Civilian deaths in military operations have become an emotive issue among Afghans, many of whom feel international forces take too little care when launching air strikes, undermining support for their presence.

When do they ever take responsibility they bush there way out of it. They bring up the US soldier deaths. But they dont recognize the civillan casualties. Theres alot more Civillans dead than US soldiers.
