As we all know that Germany was once the most fascist nation on Earth and yet how come they allow these sorts of parties to exist within their nation? I know nowadays parties like BNP and ANP aren't hugely supported and thus don't really threaten anyone too much but isn't it still foolish to allow similar ideologies of Nazi Germany to exist in a country that once used it as a way of life?
For example they allow the NDP to exist:

the fascists keep the workers divided and scare people into voting for centre-right parties, while at the same time buliding support for the opressive measures of these parties.
look at the NF when they all fled to vote for Thatcher as a prime example.
i think that now these parties are growing to dangerous levels on the basis of the positions of power, party 'prestige' (if you can call it that) publicity, and party membership etc... and since the governments will not stop the fascists it is our job to fight them as well as the governments as part of the class struggle

They tried to make NDP illegal but the police and investigators concluded that NPD had so many infiltrators from the German security police that they could not say if it was the infiltrators that run their party or actual NPD-activists...:D

I don't think banning political parties is the way to go. Parties only grow in popularity if people are sympathetic to their ideas. It's better to try and win the ideological and moral arguments instead.

I beg to differ, you're honestly saying that given the opportunity you wouldn't make these scumbags' organisations illegal?

Calling for a capitalist regime to ban a fash group is idiotic. Think for a second. Once the precedent has been set, who will they ban next?

if we had power one would hope we would not have to ban these ****s...
and banning them will do no good, middle class 'freedom of speech' types will pipe up with some sort of argument about opression

Why not work to remove the conditions of capitalism that create such groups?
Why is the first instinct of so many people to herd those who disagree with them onto cattle cars?
Yes they are scum, but they are the product of a scum system, fix the system and they will no longer exist.

You are not asking the right question. The workingclass has never been able to trust in the bourguise state for protection.

exactly.
Why ask the capitalist state to ban a party? You KNOW they will be banning revolutionary left parties on the same basis soon afterwards. In the minds of the capitalists and the people they influence we are paractically the same as them.
The best, and only way to defeat fascism is to fight the system that creates it, full stop.

capitalism and fascism are like bedfellows. Wherever you have capitalism, the fascists will not be far away. As another member said they are another beourgiose tool of divide and conquer. The police and ruling class like to keep the boot boys on standby as a means of diverting attention and crushing communist sentiment.
