We often post news articles on this forum, and having sticky threads dedicated to news articles in different continents seems somewhat redundant. Would the members prefer to just do away with them in favor of having articles simply posted to the main worker actions forum?
I was inclined to do so, but I thought it best to ask members instead.

I'd agree. The stickied threads are somewhat redundant.
However, I think they may be of use as some sort of log of past workers struggles, and for people looking for information on ones in their area - so thus, rather than scanning the entire forum, they can just open one folder.
Bearing that in mind, perhaps it would be worth moving each thread to its particular region at the end of every month or something?

that could make searching the archives more difficult though since you would have to scan through a massively long thread instead.

i vote yes.
someone who searches for his on continent information can easily do it with the search forum option i think. Now the sticky topics are just there with no actions in it!

Well I'm going to de-sticky them. In the future I will try to edit the country name into the thread title of all news stories that arise so that it will be easier for users to look for backlogs of struggles in their area. Hopefully people will find that to be a fair compromise.
