The future is constantly in the making.

The better question is: what are you willing to do to change the present and hence change the future?

The future exists. If we are to say that the past existed, and the past before that past existed, then we can assume the laws of physics are in constant. Thus, the future exists.

Why is it to say we are at a certain point of time? The past is now, the future is now.
I am always at the same time line but with different things as existent.

The progression of events are not through time, there is not progression, only changes.

A communist society will exist. Through the ticking of the clock, not time. Unless you are to say time is nothing but a measure of how things change. The things in nature are not controlled by time, but it is the ticks of the clock that tell how fast a plant will grow. That is what time is.

Wow, that's deep.

It's like, there's never a moment called the present. Because, by the time I type out the word "present" it is no longer the present, but the future. OMG.

As for the future of socialism, I personally believe it will make a comeback. From capitalism we can either enter barbarism or socialism. That's why we gotta tell the masses to choose wisely!

Humanity will go extinct, the sun will shrivel up and die, the universe will collapse upon itself in a slow, cataclysmic process much like the outcome of a fast-food meal (most likely in that order.)

What happens before that? Damned if I know.

How will that affect socialism? Well, I suppose when all that shit happens, nobody will care much about socialism anymore.

Time is 100% dependent on movement. No movement, no time.
