20, member of Soviet Empire for 5 years. Socialist through and through, versed in Marx, Feuerbach, Gramsci, Adorno, Meszaros, Shelley and most importantly Robert Tressell.
I drink heavily, I may show UK comrades to the good beers.
I smoke a pipe, " " good tobaccoes.
I like folk and classical music from plainsong to Shostakovich (Mahler's *****) - the last piece of music of any note was Shosty's Viola Sonata. I love Soviet cinema, it captures the soul and dissects it sensetively, even the brash tank based film I saw from 1938. "Stalker" is the greatest film I have seen to date. I agree with the October Revolution as the only democratic proceedure ever taken in history.
Shelley, Byron, Zola, Tressell, HP Lovecraft are my main inspirations for thought, minus the glaring racism in Lovecraft. I am an amatuer classical violinist, who needs a tutor when one has a metronome, Shevchik, a violin and beer?
I am also quite accurate with an air rifle at 10m, with my left hand as my right eye is up to nothing good.
Socialism, comrades. It comes from everywhere.

Red Anarchist, is that size of signature necessary? Do we really need to know who you have been over this period, all of your posts will change to your current name regardless. This site is ugly enough as it is.
Why must I have posted 25 messages to be eligble to write in the arts section? It's patronising rubbish.

1. I'll keep my signature the way it is, thanks.

2. Do you want to post a link? If so, you can't until you've got 25 posts. This is just to stop spambots.

It's just exclusively to stop spambots? That's a hand. I was going to link the imslp in a post, but the message that appeared said "You cannot post in this forum until you have 25 posts" - get the deixis and implication correct or others will become victim.

Robert Tressell is fantastic, the Ragged Trousered Philanthropists is an absolutely golden novel. It made more of an impact on me than reading the manifesto or anything of the like.

Welcome aboard!

Thaknfully someone agrees that it is more moving than the manifesto, it is a living, breathing cry for socialism.

It gives socialism context in terms of peoples everyday life. It's also a lot more accessible.

Then why bother with the intro? Don't like the site ? Don't post here. It's that simple The site's interface is just quite aesthetically unpleasing to begin with, but so is playing Nethack. I just hope this is as fulfilling as hunting the Amulet of Yendor!

Pardon me, there must have been some glitch as this post was posted twice, probably trigger happy.
