I'm probably not knowledgable enough to do this, but sounds good. Getting active in an organization and browsing Revleft helps too.

There's plenty of good resources here at RevLeft, digg in!

Don't expect everything to be made clear to you in an afternoon (or a lifetime, FTM), patience is a virtue.

I'd be willing to give it a go. But be warned, you can't just learn Marxism in a short period of time, it is pretty wide ranging.

If you are interested, PM me.

This is a great idea. Maybe RevLeft could consider doing courses or something? Or is there already something like that?

Rough and ready summary ?

1. All history is the history of Class Struggle

2. How We think about the world reflects our material position within the world

3. Capitalism is an economic system based on those who work in the economy not owning what they work with.

4. Capitalism, over the long term, will get worse and worse at allocating economic resources efficiently.

5. Everyone who depends on selling their labour to make a living will ultimately have a common material interest in replacing capitalism.

6. Revolutionary politics must be built on the basis of what class struggle organisations can be practically built at any given time, rather than just preaching in favour of an alternative society.

7 With the development of imperialism we enter a stage in which Capitalism can no longer be continuously progressive, i.e. more often than not it is destroying more than should be destroyed and buliding less than could be built.

8. The key step forward will be the seizure of the capitalist state and its restructuring so that it ceases to be the instrument of the interests of capital and becomes instead an instrument of workers against capital.

Best of Luck !
