Many of you have already heard some of these, but possibly not all of them

'The meaning of peace is the absence of opposition to socialism.' Karl Marx

'It is true that liberty is precious; so precious that it must be carefully rationed.' V.I. Lenin

'One man with a gun can control 100 without one.' V.I. Lenin

'The goal of socialism is communism.' V.I. Lenin

'A single death is a tragedy, a million deaths is a statistic.' Josef Stalin

'Death solves all problems - no man, no problem.' Josef Stalin

'Education is a weapon whose effects depend on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed.' Josef Stalin

'Gaiety is the most outstanding feature of the Soviet Union.' Josef Stalin (No, that does not mean homosexuality)

This is one of my favourite:
'Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns, why should we let them have ideas.' Josef Stalin

'Print is the sharpest and the strongest weapon of our party.' Josef Stalin

'The writer is the engineer of the human soul.' Josef Stalin

'Whenever death may surprise us, let it be welcome if our battle cry has reached even one receptive ear and another hand reaches out to take up our arms.' Che Guevara

'Even when you depict a landscape or the way of life, you must never attach importance to itself but subordinate it to the ideological content of an article' Kim Jong Il

some typically freedom hating comments by the Russian Napoleon and some typically sick and inhuman comments by the Russian Hitler. whats even more disgusting is how you uphold these quotes as 'great'.

Yes, definately agree with the one about why should one be allowed ideas if they arent allowed guns. Dont agree with it coming into existence, just a powerful quote. And justifyable.

One of my favourite Marx quotes went something like this....there may be slight inaccuracies...

"Catch a man a fish, and you can sell it to him. Teach a man to fish, and you ruin a wonderful business opportunity"

Classic Marx!

"One day you will wake up and their will be advertising on police cars and your death will sell you out as someone smart"

"If heaven is for clean people it's vacant" (think about it... geurillas are always dirty, and cappies would not go to heaven even if they believed in it)

This is one of my favorites. I actually laughed out loud when I first saw it, and it's still a great quote.

Anyone who knows anything of history knows that great social changes are impossible without feminine upheaval. Social progress can be measured exactly by the social position of the fair sex, the ugly ones included.
-Karl Marx

Many of the quotes I liked; specifically those by Marx, Lenin, And Mao. I am not very wild about Stalin.
