Does anyone know much about this party and its history in relation to revolutionary politics?
This is what I found on their myspace page

This is the official Myspace page of California's Peace and Freedom Party. We are a socialist/feminist party that has been on the California ballot since the 1960's and currently has almost 60,000 members. Please visit our website at: http://peaceandfreedom.org/home/

The Peace and Freedom Party of California, founded in 1967, is committed to socialism, democracy, ecology, feminism and racial equality. We organize toward a world where cooperation replaces competition, a world where all people are well fed, clothed and housed; where all women and men have equal status; where all individuals may freely endeavor to fulfill their own talents and desires; a world of freedom and peace where every community retains its cultural integrity and lives with all others in harmony.

60,000 members is a helluva lot better than even the CPUSA!

Are they the organisation that ran Leonard Peltier as a write-in candidate in 2004?

Social Democrats who foolishly think that elections change things and wish to implement a capitalist-friendly 'socialism'. Moving on...

They are a social democratic party that has moved far from any progressive history that they once had. This year they nominated Ralph Nader for president.
