Hi comrades,
I am really enjoying this site.
I've already sort of introduced my theoretical position here (http://www.revleft.com/vb/you-marxist-leninist-t17464/index.html?p=1211386#post1211386).
My favorite band is the Clash, as my user title, handle and avatar suggest.
My favorite color has been red since before I was a socialist. :p
...and now for my question, which I don't want to bother giving it's own thread: Where do y'all go for global labor news?
Libcom is the only really good source I have discovered. I don't care about the perspective (I'm not even an anarchist and I read Libcom), just as long as it's not Euro- or America-centric. I like Libcom so much because they really seem to know what they're talking about even when they cover stuff like the recent strike waves in Iran. They are good at bringing out the sameness of the class struggle across very disparate cultures.

Welcome to revleft.
As for your question, my primary news sources as links from RevLeft and LibCom (I'm not an anarchist either ) and BBC news.

Anarchists do have more fun, you should think about it.
I get my news from BBC, ABC (Australian etc.), and a couple of other places. RevLeft has a couple of places, including the News forum, and Worker's Actions, which may interest you.

Cliche. The anarchists I knew used to whine a lot (especially about perceived political imperfections in each other) while never really getting anything done.
Fun? Whenever we (teenage punks) had a bit of mindless fun, they were the first to patronize us about our childishness. They were way too serious about every little thing all the time. Maybe I haven't met the right ones though.

I direct you to multiple studies on this very website that indicate that anarchists do, in fact, have more fun.
Who else gets to riot, throw shit at cops, smash shit, glue locks and parking meters, break windows, etc. etc., all without asking permission from the party?
Where as Leninists and the like have to get permission from the party to so much as talk to an anarchist, let alone smash shit up with one, anarchists just and let rip.
Yeah, you know it...

Who else gets to riot, throw shit at cops, smash shit, glue locks and parking meters, break windows, etc. etc., all without asking permission from the party?... and other such pointless rituals with which anarchists sometimes attempt to convince themselves that they're "doing something" and that their politics are "street based".
Where as Leninists and the like have to get permission from the party to so much as talk to an anarchist, let alone smash shit up with one, anarchists just and let rip.I've never asked anyone for permission to do anything.
As I said, the anarchists I knew were not a lot of fun at all, but I'm only speaking from my personal experience and didn't mean to generalize. It would be great if you didn't generalize either.
That said, I don't really have anything against anarchists, and the last thing we want is 1936 all over again. ;)

Football hooligans, for instance?

Antifa?
Antifa Trotskyists do it better, we are ideologically in the right (which makes us super) and we aren't pedantic arses, middle class or nerds (which makes us cool)

Thanks for the welcomes.
I think we can solve the funness debate right now, which sounds better: this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victor_Serge#Early_life) or this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victor_Serge#Career_in_the_Soviet_Union)?
I'm not answering either way (though it's pretty obviously #2 ).

A while ago there was a comment on my profile about one of my posts and now I can't find it. It was worded like it had been made from my post itself, like a reputation comment. Even if it wasn't made from the post, I don't have any visitors comments on my profile, so wtf was it and where did it go?
eta: ha! I figured it out. So rep comments are viewable from your user cp instead of your profile...never seen that on a forum before.

I'm friends with a lot of anarchists through the Leninist party I'm involved in.

Yeah, sorry to bump this thread again, but yes, Trots are right-wing...
