not sure if this is politics, theory or whatever.
but. how many of you wish everyday that you were wrong, that you could ignore everything you've seen, everything you've experienced, everything you've learnt and pretend that somehow the bourgouisie, were acting in your best interest?
that you hadn't passed the "point of no return" and could just go to work accept your pay, get pissed at the weekend, fall over drunk and believe everythings gona be all right?
i do.
but once you've got the knowledge/ experience, it's impossible, you can't help yourself, your conscience will not allow you to sit on your hands whilst others struggle.
it really is the monkey on your back.

I once tried to pretend I was a nice, sensible, social democrat but as soon as I discussed politics with someone I ended up being a communist again.

It's like taking that pill in the matrix.

Same here. I remember after hanging out with some friends and just listening to them, I decided "fuck it, i'm joining the Communist Party".

Never.

Why would I want to live the one life I have as a sheep blindly following others and believing what I'm told while my life is utterly meaningless because I have failed to instill it with meaning because I am worthless and passive?

Never, never, never. The Nietzsche quote in my signature covers it in one line:
"So live that you must wish to live again."
And he didn't mean live any life again - he meant this one, exactly as it has been and as it is. And that means that all of history happens again, just like it did... are you strong enough to will that?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA no.

Ignorance is not bliss. Yes, we can stay where we are right now, and play dumb, but why would we do that? We want a better life for us, and for the future. Sometimes, the truth hurts, but not knowing hurts more, but you don't know it.

I have had my days. Going through high school as a REAL communist is a *****. I got my friends though, even though I don't even know who half the people who hate me are. In the end though, I do not regret my decision to declare myself a communist. I may wish I had been more discreet in allowing people to find this out, being that people I have never met before often seem to know me as "that German Commie" (small town), and that even a hand full of my teachers found out my stances (one of them a mega right winger, another one a liberal democrat who loves my family and I think I moved further to the left), and one moderate republican (who worshiped me in class because I knew why I supported my opinions, unlike the majority of the students). I can only assume my senior year will be hell due to my new schedule of teachers.
