Man, Oliver Stone has perfected the art of making films way too early.

Well, it looks better than that awful 911 film he made.

I don't get it.

Wasn't he defending the Vietnamese Communists? And now hes making film to critically glorify George Bush. I read on Wikipedia that he also was going to make a film based on one of Ayn Rand's books. What a douche.

Uh wrong. The movie was filmed in my home town, and from those who were involved in it, they say its a dark humerous film, that shows W in the worst light possible, and as Stone says, "As fair and true to real life as possible.

From the trailer, it does appear to definitely have a left bias.

Huh. Not sure what to make of that trailer. Aside from the fact that it looked as boring as hell. Doubt I'll watch it, I have very little interest in what motivated Bush to become the latest Leader of the Free World :tongue_smilie:, and if I did I would try to get my information from a source that was at least pretending to be unbiased (if that's possible where Bush is concerned).

Yeah I don't think that trailer is real. :p

I'm actually quite interested in seeing this movie, although I find it a bit bizarre they're releasing it while he's still in office.

1,000th post.

Looks somewhat satirical to me. Draft dodging and what have you.

maybe this movie is being bankrolled by the obama camp as a propaganda tool?

I doubt it, but it's gonna be beneficial for Obama if it becomes a popular movie probably.

Then again, considering when this movie was annouced and when it's being released, you may be right.

Sounds like a satire, not pro-bush, from the trailer.
