i think ethics is verry important in all society, but it seem to me that a lot of dogma both in capitalist and communism took place in history.
during a certain time, communist regimes banned resrarch on robotics and genetics beccause it was bourgeois science.
even today, many capitalist/free market society are imposing themselves limit for things like cloning and genetic research.
are those limits really necessary?
i mean, if we dont start to massively experiment and search in those field, other will eventually, its already begun at some extend, researcher looking for a drung that would be given to athlete, that will interfere with their main DNA and give them more power, all that carried illegally with private company money.
many field of research are still taboo, psychics sciences for exemple.
should we massively study them without taboo, or at some extent avoid them?
