I imagine they would be placed in a different type of prison, not the U.S. kind. A type of prison that rehabilitats them, but does not punish them. I can't say for sure, I think it would depend on a bunch of different things.

It's a damning indictment of the inhumanity of the capitalist prison system, and almost swung me towards anarchism when I read it a few years ago. :lol:

Well some sort of plan would be needed. I assume a blanket amnesty for most prisoners, though we'd have to use some sort of case by case look at the more violent types. Though in any case, those who weren't completely freed, wouldn't live in prisons, I imagine a form of supervised release. Something to sort out all the mindfucking that goes on in prison. My bet is that a lot of these people would chill out if taken out of the cycle of prison to street violence, which is completely fueled by capitalism.
