So, what is best to read of Karl Kautsky -- who looks so much like inventor of Esperanto?

^^^ Well (now that you've come around ;) ), I'm doing a study thread on The Class Struggle (Erfurt Programme) in the Study Groups thread. There were six other (pre-renegade, of course) works in my own work that I mentioned:

Our American Reports by F.A. Sorge (http://www.marxists.org/archive/kautsky/1895/05/sorge-de-leon.htm) (since you're in the US, this is especially important, and I quoted the real founder of "Marxism" a la "Left-Wing Communism" (http://www.marxists.org/archive/lenin/works/1920/lwc/ch01.htm) at the beginning of my work ;) )

The Social Revolution (http://www.marxists.org/archive/kautsky/1902/socrev/index.htm)

To What Extent is the Communist Manifesto Obsolete? (http://www.marxists.org/archive/kautsky/1904/xx/manifesto.htm)

The Road to Power (http://www.marxists.org/archive/kautsky/1909/power/index.htm)

Sects or Class Parties (http://www.marxists.org/archive/kautsky/1909/07/unions.htm)

War and Peace: Thoughts for the May Day Festival (http://www.marxists.org/archive/kautsky/1911/04/war1911.htm)

Although NOT on MIA (and I haven't read these works, either :( ), I strongly suggest you consider The Agrarian Question and especially The Slavs and Revolution.

P.S. - I suspect this thread was created to get MY attention specifically. ;) :D

^^^ What's with the disappearance of the Kautsky picture on the left?
