I have noticed that many people refer to the palistinian question in support of the paliatinian's. Please before you all stone me to death with posts of how ignorant i am, I AM NEUTRAL on this matter. I think both sides are equily bad.
However i have to say many peiople assume asd the palistinians fight for political freedom they are left wing. This is not strictly true. Many of the palistinian organisationsd are extream right wing organisations.

Most leftists support the Palestinians since the Isaeli occupation is illiegitimate and generally only has become accepted by U.S. backing. Israel used to be called Palestine, with Israelis and Palestinians living in the area. After the WWII the Allies collaborated to make it a state for the Israelis; however, they made most of the Palestinians into refugees and took away their land.

It is interesting to note that the Soviet Union was the first country to recognize the newly created State of Israel after it was formed have World War Two. However, as soon as the USSR and the Socialist Bloc. saw Israel for what it is (a right-wing imperialist state) it withdrew support and officially backed the PLO.

Right and left-wing aside, Israel is a hugely imperialist country and Palestine is not. Israel is oppressing people and Palestine is not.

Yes But palistiens greatest allies however are oppressive, Countries such as Saudi Arabia. If it was the other way round than im sure the palistinians would be oppressive. 40 years ago when the Arab nations looked like they would win they said and i quote
"we will drive the Jews into the Sea" the Egyption foreign minister
Damn it your making me choose sides.

maybe because you see it in the terms of Side A, and Side B.
I'd say its more a case of the people. There are MANY decent Israeli's, as there are many decent pal's.
However, both sides have very "evil" people. Intent on causing pain and suffering.
