I don't think you're looking at it the right way. What does this attack express? Fatah hasn't turned into an agent of Israel now; it has been this way ever since the Oslo agreements in the early 90s. The attack, in my opinion, is an attempt by Fatah to break up the Tahdiyah and to create more pretexts for Israel to attack Hamas. The only ones who should be surprised by any of this are those on the left who believe that Fatah is in any way a 'revolutionary' or socialist organization.
