I've heard a rumour that the BNP may have a presence at this year's Sunderland Air Show. However reluctantly I've been before and all I've seen is a stall selling WWII badges with some Luftwaffe logos.
Since the Air Show is basically a brutal display of post-colonial imperialist power and faceless, flag-waving nationalist jingoism, it seems only logical that there would be at the very least a few fascist knuckle-draggers in attendance.
As unlikely as it seems, can anyone verify this?

constructive input there comrade, on behalf of the entire forum; well done.
about the BNP attending this airshow i cannot comfirm or deny it however on a fairly recent documentary about a military history fair (men dress in uniform drive tanks etc) there was a frightening amount of people who enjoyed dressing in SS uniforms and poncing around in their gear talking to other 'SS officers'. Not that i am saying these people are all fascists but in this documentary secret filming showed that fascist sentiments did run deep amongst some of the men, on top of this also attending the fair, to flog his expensive toilet roll (disguised as books) was holocaust denier and all round wanker David Irving.
My point is that it would not take an great leap of faith to assume that this same type of Nazi loving 're-enactmentists' would surface at the airshow as well, that is if they are not, as you say, there as an 'offical presance'

Well, I went for a brief time and I found no BNP there (leafleting or otherwise) - and to top it off the imperialists' plans were scuppered by low-lying fog; Saturday's show being cancelled and yesterday no planes were visible. Result!
Got myself a lovely tikka curry with naan to ward off any approaching fash (the kryptonite of the far-right!) and enjoyed the humidity and sea air.
It does seem like a shameless recruiting tool for both the RAF and other arms of the military, so I am thinking next year to come prepared with stickers, flyers and signposts to put up to counter their propaganda. Even if it prevents just a handful of kids signing up to "death for profit" it will be worth it.

i think i seen once TAT set up a stall for 'signing up to never sign up' which you could try to do at the next air show thing maybe,
good to hear the fash didnt get a chance to spread their shit though,

"One day some Nazi's came to town, and the Air Force of ANTIFA shot them down..."
Not quite the same, but at least I tried.
