Why is it Cappi, that you still cling to this board if you are constantly ignored and run down? This is a Left Wingers board. We are all against Capitalism and right wing authorty here. I hope you noticed that.
--------------------------------what I think------------------------------------
America is a global bully. Because of this, it gets itself into BIG trouble in overseas relations. Oh you wait....the fights not over yet. One day you WILL learn and come to your senses. George Bush is a dangerous FOOL and trigger happy.

let's all neglect the positive sides USA market brings us.
And yes, we musn't neglect the deconstructive things USA brings us either (for those who are eager to reply with a ye old fallacy - Confusing Cause and Effect)
And no, I have no use for a fallacy - Appeal to Ridicule, Hasty Generalization, ad hominem, etc.
the truth is that the USA isn't all bad for those who haven't noticed yet. I too share alot of anti-usa sentiments, but I also happen to be a realist. And reality just so happens to be that USA generates alot of the wealth in the world, think of consumer markets, products, stock exchange, etc.
The fact that large cooperations exploit third world countries isn't all USA's fault. you could blame free market/privatization acts for that.
I too don't want the USA to be the policeman of the planet, I rather have the whole international community take care of that, rather than one country.
I'm very against communisme as I am against (laises-faires) Capitalism. But I'm even more against Stalinism, Maoism, Facism, Nazism, Sharonism(:P), arafatism(:P) :)
If a third world country doesn't want to be exploited then turn back privitazation acts.
Mugabe did it half right in my opinion, he evicted foreign sugar cane farmers(rather violently) and gave it back to his own people.

Is the implication not, in fact, that the US is guilty of complicity with globalisation? Clearly, the North/South divide is as strong on this issue as any other worldwide economic issue, and is in fact more pronounced than any other. You can tout whatever supposed progress the US has made, but don't try to obviate the need for radical change coming from within the US to stem the tide of our current globalisation madness.

I understand your situation, and your explaination is solid. But not Bullet proof.
...... Capitalism has exploited the poor and made the rich..richer. Everything I see in the US media is $$$$ and not much else. I also believe the US Govn't is completely reckless....there are no two ways about it. Why is it that the US hates the left wing? Most Eurpean countries have strong socialist leanings...I don't get. You can still make a living there. You can run buisness, and make $$$$, but you pay higher taxes for socialised medicine and welfare safety net. So you help the needy.....ummmm....so what. At least you aren't standing on the poors back.
