I guess you have to make one of these threads, so here we go.

Hi I'm new to this site, discovered it while browsing aktivist.nu a danish portal for leftwing activists that I am contributing to. It used to have a forum, but it became outdated and was over-spammed. I'm working on putting up a new forum on that site though.

Meanwhile I'll be looking by here from time to time. Most of my time will be used on the anarcho.dk though, which is a forum for danish anarchist.

That leads us to the next issue.

I am an Anarchist.

-Peace

That's actually a really sad story, because it is almost non-existent. It is very divided and the anarchists participate in lot of different organisations, but these are not anarchist organisations, but a mix of all kinds of leftwing people. Also the anarchists participate in a lot of different battles, like the fight for Ungdomshuset(the Youth House), peace groups and union work.

Lately we are some that tried to unite the anarchists, but the attempt failed because of many things, and I think the main reason was that we tried to attract all which called themselves anarchists. That be primitivists, anarchist communists etc. And now I see that it was not a good idea, because although we call ourselves for anarchists, our goals are very different.

Did you try to unite anarchist under syndicalism and communist? I think that will be a good start.

No, we have not tried that. But actually I'm pretty new to anarchism still. I've been an anarchist for like 2 years now I think, but I'm looking around for ideas and people to work with.
I stumbled across NEFAC recently, and i think that they have some interesting views on organizing, I'm new to the idea of platformism, but i think it might sound pretty good. But i need to read and hear more about it.
