North Korea (a failed economy)
"Attempting to understand the catalogue of horrors that has characterized much of twentieth-century history, Western scholars generally distinguish between violent revolutions of the right and the left. Fascist regimes are assigned to the evil right, Marxist-Leninist regimes to the benign left. But this distinction has left us without a coherent understanding of the revolutionary history of the twentieth century, contends A. James Gregor in this insightful book. He traces the evolution of Marxist theory from the 1920s through the 1990s and argues that the ideology of Marxism-Leninism devolved into fascism. Fascist regimes and Communist regimes--both anti-democratic ideocracies--are far more closely related than has been recognized."
North Korea is a radical Left Wing Socialist collective state. Ofcourse, as usual, everytime a Socialist society fails (as it always does) the hypocritical Left Wingers disassociate themselves from it and start calling it a "Fascist" society. This is just another attempt by extreme Leftists and Socialists to reclassify and reinvent themselves after each failure. In actuality, those that have read Marx know that the similarities between Communism/Socialism and Fascism are unbelievable.
Yes, we did send billions of dollars and food to Germany and Japan---AFTER THE WAR WAS OVER AND THESE COUNTRIES DID NOT REPRESEN A THREAT TO THE WORLD OR THE U. S. ANYMORE.
These are good sources of info on similarites of these two anti-democratic ideocracies (Communism/Fascism):

One thing, for those that have read Marx, Communism and Socialism are the same and he uses both names interchangeably in his works. In the last few decades, the hypocritical and sanctimonious Leftists have reclassified these two words as to give "Socialism" a more "benign" look.
This is nothing more and nothing less than more double standards and hypocrisy from the Left:
North Korea last week said that "sanctions against N. Korea would be an act of war". Since when is any nation in the world (including the U. S.) obliged to have
any ties with another nation. N. Korea is free to trade with Mainland China, Russia and the rest of those Fascist/Socialistic societies. I mean, the collective-Fascist-Marxist society of N. Korea shouldn't be asking a "Capitalistic" society that they are bent on destroying to give them money and food. Why not just let "Socialism" (what they preach) bail them out.
Could any rational being (the word here is rational) conceive the U. S. and other ally leaders sending money and food to Nazi Germany while we were fighting them in WWII? Can you imagine having a neighbor next door to you that doesn't like you, threatens you, etc. demanding money from you or else he'll break the windows of your house. I think that since we are the "evil" Capitalists we really shouldn't help N. Korea. We should let the "collective" with all their "Socialistic might" take care of the famine in that country.
If you're interested to real solutions to complex problems (Capitalism isn't perfect and I myself do not advocate Laissez-Faire Capitalism---I'm for a mixed economy), you will check the sites below. But if you're more interested in quick-fix it solutions, slogans, and calling those that don't agree with you "Fascists" you may stop here.

Fascism and Marxism:
...one is a 'pathology' of the universal, the other a
'pathology' of the national....
