This is 2000 presidential socialist candidate of the USA on an old show called "politically incorrect" featuring Bill Maher....this is as LEFT as it gets on U.S. mainstream TV....no one is more to the left on mainstream TV than Bill Maher (and that's not saying much).

Here they had David McReyonlds on the show, a 2000 socialist candidate, and there the other show's guests (who had very anti-Bush feelings) were HATING on him. These are the "hollywood liberals". McReynolds sounded good to me to the point that the crowd seemed to be more on his side. Good video and interesting to see. Also there are a ton of right-wing nutty comments on the video as usual since youtube is full of it....feel free to battle them.

I used to think Bill Maher was funny, but that was when I was a typical "omg bush sucks kerry ftw" liberal. Now, his humor just sounds stale.

Plus, he's completely ignorant of political theory, and often spews baseless crap. Not too long ago, I heard him say something along the lines of "when the state is in total control, that's communism, while when corporations are in control, that's fascism". I just facepalmed right then and there.
