Sounds interesting, might pick up a copy at the library, $25 is a bit steep. Though I must ask, doing your part for the party Rosa? Or will you not be promoting china mieville's next book

I would say that a) it's mainly an account
of 'humanitarian intervention' and its emergence in the era of
colonialism, slavery and global white supremacy; b) it does talk about
the neocons and ex-Trots at some length, but this only accounts for a
fraction of the current crop of liberal imperialists, and at any rate
that idea draws on a well-worn and insupportable trope about the
origins of neoconservatism in the Trotskyist movement (also dealt with
in the book).

JHG, I used to be in the SWP in the 1980s and 1990s, but I am not in it at present.

I will re-join it when my project is finished, if they will have me back...
