Russia was using mostly american planes! Russia did not defeat germany in the east, the russian winter did! America led D-day, and liberated nazi occupied europe! That is much more difficult than merely defending ground that you still have like russia did!

American B-17's were the only squadrons brave enough to make daylight bombing runs over berlin!

America Led the battlre of the buldge!

And america fought in the pacific theatre against Japan almost all alone! And we won there too! We fought in Europe and the pacific!!

Russia only fought in one theatre!!!

American aircraft have always been better that soviet planes!! I am talking statistically and in real-world combat.

Plus now the russians are devolping the SU-37 A. Plus the F-22 is just a prototype and has been under devolpment for 20 years and has not been used in combat.

USA will deploy f-22 in 2004, and we will introduce the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter mid-decade, Lockheed just won the contract to build them. Wrong, Sir!!! The F-22 uses aamram aim-120 as primary air-to-air missle and sparrow as secondary, but it also has 20 mm cannon, and laser guided bombs and JDAM's, which do more damage than ASM's!!! also can superccruise (mach+ without afterburners) and is highly stealth. It can engage SU-37 at longer ranges, and get 1st shot off before su37 even sees the F-22!!!

Besides, It reallly comes down to the pilot, and American Pilots are much, much better than russian pilots. They train more often and more hours!!

F-22 id the most sophisticated aircraft ever!!!

I agree SU-37 may be better in a dog fight with equal pilots, but F-22 is better at long range and stand-off distances., and that is where most air-to air combat happens today.

Also, don't underestimate Supercruise, because su-37 afterburners consume so much fuel, it would be unable to maintain pursuit of an f-22 over significant distance
