My appraisals for Chairman Mao Zedong is thet he was extrmeley brave.I would rememeber him like I do Che if he never took power.The thing I hate about him is he killed 14000000 people and killed intellectuals.:hammersickle:

Although im not a mao fan alot of the 14000000 people died in a famine which had happened in china for a well long time.

I also (like Comrade Joe) an not a Mao fan. However, when you're talking about that many people, I fail to see how one person can be responsible. Even if one person gives the order to kill that many people, why didn't any of the underlings just refuse or otherwise stop it.

"Just following orders" hasn't been a legitimate defense since the Nuremberg Trials.
