So yeah are property developers (Real estate developers to all you yanks) bourgeois, petite-bourgeois or proletarians?

i would agree that they are indeed bourgeois, they are vey much capatilists looking to make big bucks.

That depends, though (bourgeois or petit-bourgeois), on the scale of the business. TomK in OI is most likely PETIT-bourgeois (in spite of his false pride), but a deceased bourgeois in-law of mine was really into property development.

Now, if TomK were, say, one of the leading owners of a property development corporation (I don't think he is, given his statements on limited liability), THEN I'd be willing to reconsider my assumption as to his class background. :)
