Well for a start you wont have to pay for it and there wont be any restrictions on its distribution.

Of course there will have to be restrictions such as age limits for the performers, whether or not they are freely consenting to what they are doing and regular free health checks (To stop any potential spread of sexually transmitted diseases) but other than that i dont see anything wrong with porn in a Communist society.

Well, it's an old commercial back from the Cold War days--it actually caused quite a stur if I remember--I think the Societ Union even filed a formal protest with the United States about the commercial.

You do have to admit that the American commercial was done in fun--the North Koreans are dead serious.

On an off topic--I googled for the Soviet reaction to the Wendy's commercial and I found this in the NYTimes about how the Americans felt about Gorbachev. Interesting reading.

I know a few people who enjoy being pissed on, don't underestimate the weird sexual habits of humans. Imagine how many would enjoy such things but doesn't dare to say it in the open, even to their partners. I know one guy who begged his girlfriend to pee on him while having sex. It's really not much weirer than getting cum sprayed all over your face or elucing female squirting. Also remember to thriwing S&M community, I doubt everyone there are there by force. It is exciting on your own terms, to be "humiliated" in sexual acts.


On the subject, lot's of people have the desire to have lookers involved in their sex life. It is an interesting prospect for, I would guess, most of us. Now it can be seen in al the amateour porn websites where people videotape themselfes, or live, and spread it for free. Just because they enjoy the thought of other people looking at them having sex.

With this in mind I can't imagine that there won't be many people interested in making quality porn movies.

I don’t see why a porn industry would exist at all, IMO amateur productions distributed over a youtube-like site would do just fine. If people wish to make higher quality stuff we’d simply provide them the technical means (cameras, video editing equipment, etc.) to do so, but it’s not like we’d have a central planning subcommittee on adult films decide what to make. :p

Would there even be a point for porn to exist? Probably not. With quality jobs and education available, people (especially women) would no longer have to to degrading things like stripping and porn filming to make a living. Cut the job shortages and low wages in a lot of places that force people to get into porn for a decent salary and people will no longer do this stuff for a living, as they can get quality jobs where they don't have to degrade themselves.

Plus, without the stress and other such complications in relationships caused by the capitalist system, I am sure that people would have a much easier time with relationships than they do now.

I implied that people in the porn industry were well paid (in addition to this, strippers can make hundreds of dollars in a single night.), hence people going there to actually make a decent income as opposed to working a low paying job. The porn industry thrives on unemployment and low paying jobs created by capitalism.

So you believe that after the revolution Martymachlia and Voyeurism will cease to exist? That everyone will be so sexually staid as to keep their activities "behind closed doors"? Indeed, without the moralistic to condemn them as "degraded" I imagine a lot more martymachiliacs would turn their paraphilia to a creative purpose (erotic art, pornographic cinematography and so on). I would recommend you read the article I linked to earlier, hopefully it will help you understand that degradation is not the sole motivation for pornography.

Do you imagine that being in a relationship would be a reason not to produce or even consume pornography? I imagine that a couple (or triple/quadruple or whatever) that wished to "spice things up" could easily get hold of the equipment and help to make a film. Our society would (hopefully) not be as uptight as you seem to envisage.
