If Ronnie White was lynched, which it looks like he was, it won't be the first time police took matters into their own hands (becoming both the judge and jury) when dealing with the death of one of 'their own.'

It is disgusting that doing anything to a police officer should be punished more severely than if you were to do the same thing to an unarmed civilian.

And why are the police investigating this murder? Surely there is some sort of independant authority which investigates the crimes of the walking bacon?

Officials are still trying to determine whether anyone outside the prison had access to White.

This is at the end, and I bet they come up with some story which involves someone from the outside to protect their murderous skins.

if the indymedia article is correct (which it probably is) then surely it was a manslaughter on the part of the suspect and not a murder.

I hope the guards get hit by a car.

I'm referring to his murder, rather than the earlier incident with the dead cop.
