Note: I posted here to see how you idiots could possibly justify this.

The thing is, there is no justification. Terrorists should be put in jail. If they are not U.S. citizens then I can ALMOST (but not quite) see the rationalization of detaining them. However US citizens are afforded certain rights regardless of the crime they committ. Jose Padilla for example. He is a U.S. citizen who is being held unconstitutionally. How can you justify the detention and suspension of rights to a man who has not yet been proven guilty?

The answer is this, right wingers can talk all they want about patriotism but when you actually SUSPEND the constitution of the United States you are truly being UN-PATRIOTIC. You CAN NOT argue this point. That is why no one has responded as of yet.

Bush is really pushing it. I don't like the idea of this new system at all. I don't think liberty is dying however. This new 'system' won't last for long. :)

You know, you right-wingers are allowed to make the system more centerist, and no be betrayers of Capitalism, which is where we have a common rallying point.

Hmm.... Now both sides are gonna hate me for saying that.

Can anyone understand what Umoja is talking about?

Many right-wingers support Bush here, probubly only to oppose what we say, quite a few people don't support him (And since quite a few people don't vote that says something). I'll just start speaking in Esperanto. Socialismo kaj Marxismo estas bona....

There is no justification for this. Yes, this will quickly call the attention of many Americans, but it is not nearly as ridiculous as many of the other injustices commited by the American government. Examples: war aginst Vietnam, war against North Korea, embargo on Cuba, imposing the embargo on other soveirgn nations, supporting right-wing dictatorships around the world, brainwashing all Americans, need I go on?
