Hello everyone my names Liam, but I get the nickname Jordi for my love of Catalunya. My main passion in life is Barça but secondly politics I'm very interested in, how I first became seriously involved with politics was when I was over in Barcelona for El Clasico, (Barça V Real Madrid) if some of you share the same passion as me you'll know the political importance in this fixture. I've always wanted an independent Catalan socialist state and for this reason I took up learning the local official language Catalan. As I was walking along the street gutted because of defeat, one Ultra from the opposing team Real stopped me and asked me a question in Spanish, me being unable to speak Spanish simply replied I can't speak Spanish but I can speak Catalan in Catalan. As I walked away I was attacked by 4 ultras being 15 at the time I was pretty shock up, they threaten to kill me for what I seen it as a none-important reason, one man in his mid 20's grabbed me neck and started chocking me as the other 3 stood beside hurling abuse and threats such as muerte tu hijo de puta. Fortuity for me they realised I was foreign given me a warning afterwards. The first time in my life I'd felt discrimination and political injustices. This experience has changed me and the person I am to be completely honest, after this I grew an interest in politics and different left-wing political ideologies, after learning about Che Guevara, a true inspiration for me I'm finding out what society I want, learning more and more, but I'm finding it too completed all to suss out. I know what I stand against imperialism, discrimination, racism, capitalism, class-distinctions, right-wing ideologies and avoidable-poverty. I'm pretty convinced I have some elements of the communist ideologies just not certain completely what branch. I look forward to discussions on this forum

I'm glad you saw the light mate, it's quite sick how the club still endorses the fascist ultras which support the club, the Ultras Sur, I seen a Spanish documentary had a few mates help with the translations and the club allow these right-wing, nationalist, skinheads, neo-Nazis, fascists free tickets to the stadium, their own office at the stadium, a say in the running of the club, even players were photographed with the Ultras Sur members and posed for pictures with them holding their scarf’s and flags. The most evil thing was what was published about the ground. Organising assaults on any minority which is quite sick, I've wrote an article about the supporters, here it is if you're interested in reading it

Real Madrid - National pride or Bigotry

A club which has won 9 European tittles and 30 Leagues, boasting one of the most successful trophy rooms in Europe with a history of great footballers, Di Stefano to Raul there has been a lot of stars or Galacticos as the Madridistas like to be known as. A club with a big stadium and a big fan-base, one of the worlds great clubs or the greatest club according to FIFA who awarded the club, team of the centaury, even today 8 years on they still hold a commemorative symbol on their shirt!

Behind the glamour and the successes the media cover the dark truth of the club can be under covered! Judge for yourself weather you believe this club is great or in fact a bunch of bigots and neo-Nazis, it's your choice. The club was formed in 1902 by two Catalan brothers, with the original name of FC Madrid (Catalan Spelling) during the beginning the club was ordinary and represented nothing, In the beginning the club had several links to left-wing political groups, even in the early days Franco wanted to close down Madrid for these actions. The sprit of FC Madrid died and Real Madrid was born!

1939 the Spanish Civil war had ended, Franco ruled over Spain and this was the time when Real Madrid, Franco's favourite team started to dominate Spanish football. State run television broadcasting’s would feature live games and highlights of Real Madrid, were as the FC Barcelona the club that was still suffering with a weaken side and a crippled financial situation. FC Barcelona players during a tour to the United States and Mexico where the republican element of Barca was highly greeted, ex-players of the team explain who these ties more like protests declaring support for Barca and Catalan Republish. 16 players left for the Americas and only 4 returned. Some players stayed in Mexico, some stayed in other various European countries extraditing away from the troubles. Barca's club headquarters’ was also bombed, all the clubs trophies left to rubble, lucky enough the clubs savings of 2,500 pesetas were saved! During the uprising of Franco FC Barcelona's membership dropped, the stereotypical Franco saw every Soci of Barca a Catalan Nationalist the list of club members were handed over to the local authorities, members at that time being persisted from then on! During these hardships Barca also lost Josep Sunyol the president and Politian in the Generaliat, a great man, a very important part of the clubs history along with another star in the team Arocha scorer of 214 lost his life in conflict. The fascist controlled state saw that Real Madrid would be the ideal club to be used as a propaganda tool to preach fascist ideology, using the club as a symbol of Spanish nationalism. The other plan was to exterminate FC Barcelona, which ultimately failed!!! Encounters of the two sides from the 1940's, 1950's, 1960's and 1970's included outrageous and idiotic decisions against Barca costing the club championship after championship and cup after cup! A famous Copa Del Rei tie in 1943 Barca tear Real Madrid apart 3-0 in front of a packed Les Corts, the return tie differs a lot from the pervious leg, before the start of the game Barca's dressing room gets an unwelcome visit from the police and the referee warning them not to cause trouble in Madrid, where is the logic in this? During the game goalkeeper Miro has to stand several meters off his line because Madridistas keep throwing stones and bottles at him, each time a player in the Blaugrana passes the halfway line, the referee calls for a none-existent decision against Barca. Madrid win the tie undeservedly 11-1, a member of press from a pro-Madrid newspaper Marca declared that Barca were unfairly and unsportingly treated, what happened after his post-match comments because he never wrote another article again. Even more un logical was that Barca were fined from the pervious tie for failing to control their fans, eye-witnesses at the game and ex-players were sharp to report that the Cules did nothing wrong. During the 1950's FC Barcelona started to get back on their feet and start to once again dominate Spanish football, in one famous season winning 5 trophies, with such stars as Kubala and Kocis. in 1953 when FC Barcelona had established a solid and successful side the fascist government pulled another trick out their hats. Alferdo Di Stefano had sign for FC Barcelona from River Plate the club who owned the rights to the players contract, at this time Alferdo was playing for Millonarios on loan. Alferdo even played friendly matches with FC Barcelona but Real Madrid and sources will deny the truth like always. Soon comes member of Franco's government to sort out the issue, knowing that they couldn't just take the player from Barcelona and send him to Real Madrid they used a different system, announcing he could for both clubs for a season at a time. Of course Barca would of accepted that but why didn't they, conspiracy has it the clubs directors were influenced from Franco's government. History proves Madrid rebuild their team from the stolen player of FC Barcelona winning 6 champions leagues and numerous domestic tittles. From 1960 to 1974 Barca were not to win any tittles, early 70's another incident with the government and FC Barcelona, Hugo Sotil who was originated from Peru, being the third foreigner at FC Barcelona ment he couldn't play in the team, Barca had investigated and found out players in La Liga, mainly South Americans playing for clubs like Real Madrid had fake documents allowing them citizenship! Barca wanted to sign a second foreigner, remembering Sotil was promised Spanish nationality, they found a number of iligal immigrants at other Spanish clubs, instead of players being forced out of clubs like Madrid the government promised to change the rules and allow clubs to bring in two foreigners, so Johan Nesskens was sign making him and Cruyff the two foreigners. Hugo Sotil never gain his citizenship and was forced to leave Barcelona. After a season of waiting the highly important goal scorer in the side needed to find a new club. In 1975 the Franco regime ended, he died and shortly after democracy was introduced to Spain. Allowing Club De Futbol Barcelona to switch back to the original name of FC Barcelona, allowing Catalans to speak their own language and also giving greater freedom to the nation.

Post Franco! Even after the death of Franco Real Madrid is still the government club, nothing will ever change the club would of been nothing with out him. But what’s the most shocking thing about Real Madrid today is still promoting these ideologies. Supporters of the club the Ultras Sur the hooligan firm of Real Madrid, unlike other European clubs who are against hooliganism, players and the club don't just tolerate it they endorse it! The Ultras Sur maintain an office at the Burnabeu, gain free tickets home games with away travel and tickets also included. After home matches the Ultras Sur meet to organise "cacereias" - hunts of blacks, prostitutes, tramps, gays and supporters of other clubs Catalans and Basques mostly, those two sets of supporters end up with the most horrific ambushes and assaults. Among their favoured chants is: "Six million Jews to the gas chambers". An ex-president of Madrid publicly announced he would of loved to of been a member of the Ultra Sur, players such as Raul especially, Guti, Beckham, Figo have all met with the fans, gave interviews for the Ultras Sur fanzine and have also allowed pictures to be taken of them waving the evil race-hate groups scarf’s and flags. Ultras leader Jose Luis Ochaita was arrested in 1998 in Germany for waving Nazi flags and banned from matches for three years for attacking a referee in Spain. Alvaro Cardenas. He was jailed for four years in 2003 after admitting attacking a policeman in 1999 with a knife because he mistook him for a "s****y South American". At the Burnabeu supporters wave nazi flags and fascist symbols around teh stadium, its a discrace finaly UEFA seemed they would be acting and setting an example on the Madrid fans after a game with Bayer Leverkusen which showed Madridista's doing there favorite thing, nazi chanting and abuseing black players, UEFA declaired Real Madrid may be thrown out of Europe but this was never to happen! The incident was just ignored even though a couple of weeks before hand Englands black players had witnessed the same thing in an international game involving Spain. Antonio Salas a Spanish journalist recently undercovered and printed the truth in a book now the man is in hideing, changed his name, left no traces of his former identidy. If found out the man will be murdered, a risk the authorities are not willing to take. Madrid may have gotten away all these with their sick ideologies, but this should not be tollerated in the 21st centuary!

The conclusion don't be fooled by the big stadium, football and players, after reading this I hope you realise the truth of Real Madrid CF!

From the ones I can see Cules is a nickname given to Barcelona fans meaning Arses, quite funny it came from an old stadium where you could see the end of peoples behinds from outside the ground. Soci is Catalan for member, Copa Del Rei with rei the Catalan spelling opposed to the Spanish one means Cup of the King, it's a similar tournement to the FA Cup in England. Les Corts is a catalan spelling, it's a district of Barcelona where our all stadium used to be l'esdadi de les corts (the stadium of les corts). Real is Spanish for royal, Reial in Catalan and Blaugrana the colour of the shirt claret and blue often used as a nickname the Blaugranas.

Sorry mate I posted this on a Barca forum so people would of understand those words.
