Well its for American Communist and on the American flag the 13 horizontal stripes representing the 13 original colonies of America.
The main purpose was to piss off people but its more so Commie-American pride.

i would exclude the 13 stripes, im not too fond of what they stand for. and a red flag, with and gold(yellow) star in the middle with a read hammer and sickle inside of the star is awesome.

you have to think about what each thing means and how itll be interpreted. otherwise, its just iconographic masturbation.

for example, the white in the US flag is about white supremacy. therefore it should be excluded outright.

and if this is an attempt to make leninism more conducive to a patriotic people, there arent a huge number (okay, there are suprisingly some, but not many) who would accept photoshopping a leninist symbol into their flag. frankly, it would be confused by some as an image from a rightist anticom video game like red alert or freedom fighters

Why do we need flags, or deviations of current flags, when the nation state will be done away with? And I fail to see 'why' only certain colours for such flags would be necessary as one is 'more communist than another' or something like that.

Just a plain red flag is my preference. Easy to find/make, and you won't end up with different little communist groups each flying their own 'communized' american flag. Paint 'em all red. Even if revolutionary groups are not directly related in a tactical sense, it will make it seem like the same group is everywhere! :D

Revolutionary flags shouldn't feature 'pride' stuff, it's all about the working class as a whole. :thumbup1:

I saw an Australian anarchist flag once, which was a black and had four thin vertical stripes going down it, red, green, yellow and blue. The red and yellow was from the Indigenous Australian flag and the green and blue was from the Torres Strait Islander flag.

The whole idea of adding 'pride' of any ethnicity is, in my opinion, stupid. We should all be united, and such a flag would just divide people. There's no reason to put any 'pride' on a flag, with this supposed American flag we see the colors of black pride. Why? We're all equal. Not just as working class, but as humans. There are blacks and whites, rich and poor, rocket-scientists and garbage-men, but we're all human, and we are equal, and post-revolution that will finally be realized in practice. And to be a dick, you will piss of white-people by putting black pride stripes on a flag, so even if that's a stupid reason, people will get upset about it. And the idea of doing that just seems to favor minorities, not to mention plays into pride which can just as easily become tension, there are black racists as well, and a flag like this would be in a sense like favoring the KKK. Alright, I'm exaggerating, but still. We can't favor certain people above others like that. We are united. And so I stand by Ulster Socialist, a solid red flag is perfect. (or black, or half red half black, but you get the picture).
That said, after the revolution I'd figure, for a good while, the region of the US would probably keep using that flag, or at least not as completely redone as the subject flag. Perhaps once communism is realized people will stop feeling the need to separate themselves, but I don't see flags being an immediate priority to redo.
