this article is for american supremists(cappis on this board), that think that japan was defeated by the u.s along

Lie No. 4: Japan Was Defeated By The U.S.

The Chinese Red Army destroyed more than a half million Japanese troops and 1.2 million of their puppets. This was far more than the number of Japanese fascists destroyed by the British, U.S. and the Kuomintang (the Chinese nationalists led by Chiang Kai-shek) armies combined. The capitalist media has spread lies that Japan was fighting only the U.S. in the Pacific and the British in South-East Asia. But, in fact, they were fighting many other forces. The two major campaigns against the U.S., in Okinawa and the Philippines, involved less than one-fifth of the Japanese force that were fighting against the Communists in China. In many South-East Asian countries, notably in Vietnam and the Philippines, Communist-led partisans had already finished off most of the Japanese army before the U.S., British and French armies landed to reclaim their empires behind the retreating Japanese.

the next article is about the myth that the atomic bombs were necessary to end the war:

Lie No. 5: Atomic Bombs Were Necessary To End The Japanese War Quickly

At Yalta Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchill decided that the Soviet Red Army, after defeating the Nazis, would attack the Japanese forces in Manchuria, North China, by August 8, 1945. This was seen by the western allies as a way to avoid an invasion of Japan, which could cost many U.S. and British casualties. But the U.S. had already tested the A-Bomb. This gave them the chance to attack Japan before the Red Army, thus claiming credit for the Japanese surrender and gaining full control of Japan after the war. The first Bomb was dropped on August 6, two days before the planned Soviet attack.
Killing the enemy is part of any war, but the murder and maiming of hundreds of thousands of Hiroshima and Nagasaki civilians had no military rationale. The A-bombs were in fact used as atomic blackmail in the coming post-war period. It was meant to warn the Soviet Union and the workers of the world struggling for revolution, that a capitalist super-power had arrived which was determined to use the most destructive weapon to maintain power.

Even capitalist scholars now admit that the U. S. openly lied about the Bomb saving 500,000-700,000 American lives that would have been lost in a full-scale invasion of Japan. This invasion was never needed. Japan had been sending surrender proposals for months, and the Red Army assured a quick Japanese surrender, defeating the bulk of the Imperial Army in Manchuria. The Japanese fascists' major demand in the way of unconditional surrender was the guarantee of a Monarchy, something to which the U.S. had no objection.

this one is for MaxB(or should i say, his copy and paste articles)that claim that hitler wasn't a capitalist:

Lie No. 7: The Nazi Party, Not The Capitalist Class, Turned Germany Fascist

The German capitalist class forced fascism on Germany. This class of bankers and businessmen funded Hitler. It gave him money to organize the stormtroopers who terrorized the working class in the streets. Hitler worked for the German capitalists. He banned strikes, put Communists and labor activists into jails and concentration camps. Between 1934 and 1938, while actual wages dropped, capitalists' profits soared by 50 percent. German capitalists made huge profits from the war, both from armaments and slave labor of `untermenschen' (the Jews, Gypsies, people of Eastern Europe, prisoners of war, etc.).

from: http://www.plp.org/cd_sup/cd4.html#RTFToC8 . and even my capitalist encyclopedia admits that a lot of industrialists supported hitler(in fact, hinderburg, the german president that nomiate hitler to a prime minister, was rich), and that Mein Kampf is based on, beside racical idieology, anti communism. and while i will admit all those articles come from a stalinist newpaper, i still see them as legitimate.

Great post ND. I particularly agree with you on the atomb bomb fallacy. Nothing can justify the dropping of the bomb. However i don't know about the main role the Chinese Red Army had in destroying the Japanese army. The Japanese army stationed in Japan was not of a particularly aggressive military nature. More like enforces of Japanese hegemony without tanks, planes, etc. The U.S. and allied forces through the battles of Midway and Guadalcanal especially inflicted the greatest damage to Japan as they destroyed expensive and scarce Japanese destroyers and aircraft that unlike men could not be replaced as easily.

New Democracy, If I'm not mistaken that came from a 'Stalinist' website, have you seen the light?

Anyway it is precisly true. As far as I know the Communists and Socialists were the first in the camps while the Capatalists continued to run the factories. While the extermination of Jews and other 'undesirables' was only able to survive because of profit for everything from sofa company's to the industrialists who ran the war machine.
